Percy woke up at 5 in the morning when it was still dark outside and fed Crash his food. He left Jason a message about how he was leaving and left the hotel. It was still dark outside so the sun was just about to rise.
Percy walked leisurely through the near empty streets of Honey City. It was pleasantly cool outside and the air felt clean. Only a couple other people could be seen going on morning jogs and walking with nocturnal Pokémon.
Percy walked out of the city gates towards the west of the city. It consisted mainly of plains and clumps of trees. After walking a distance from the city he broke into a run further into the wilds. Percy wanted to at least get somewhat far into the wilds so he can find some decent Pokémon.
Any decent Pokémon would definitely not be found near the city. Cowardly people would only stay close to the city as they don't want to get hurt. He ran for about half an hour and stopped. 'This should be enough.' Percy released all of his Pokémon and fed Fúria and Pharaoh.
After feeding them he crouched down to their level. "Today we'll be training super hard. I plan on getting you guys to at least level 23 by the time we have to go to the gym. I'll make you guys the strongest out there.
But I'm going to make you guys independent as well. So I'll be having you guys go explore together and attack everything you think you can beat. When you knock out the Pokémon you bring them back to me and I'll heal you.
If you find something you guys aren't confident you can't beat together come back to me and we'll scope it out together. Keep an eye out for rare Pokémon." Percy opened his Pokédex and showed them pictures of Pokémon he deemed rare.
He showed pictures of Pikachu, Sandshrew, Nidoran, Vulpix, Jigglypuff, Bellsprout, Ponyta, Teddiursa, Heracross, Pinsir, and Lillipup. He showed them the evolutions of it as well.
Although some of these Pokémon weren't the rarest Pokémon in the world they would sell for a better price. After explaining Percy added one more thing. "If you guys can get 3 of the rare Pokémon or level up to level 23 I'll get all of you the best food specifically for you.
I'll buy 2 weeks worth of it for all of you." There were a few different types of food for Pokémon. There was poor food, normal food, excellent food, and top food.
Percy would only get the normal food as he didn't have enough money to go around buying great food for his Pokémon. Poor food would decrease a Pokémon's physique and eventually its potential.
Excellent or top food increases a Pokémon's development and potential of the Pokémon. Normal food doesn't do anything other than feed the Pokémon. Specific Pokémon foods were made for a specific Pokémon in mind.
Research would be done to find the tastes of a Pokémon species. It would be a lot more expensive as there wasn't a large stock of food specifically for that Pokémon. Top specific food would be extremely expensive and wouldn't be bought by most trainers.
But the food would be extremely tasty to Pokémon and would make their potential better. The Pokémon nodded in understanding. Percy told them to go in the opposite direction of the city. He told them to check back in at least every hour so he doesn't worry about them.
The Pokémon left with Pharaoh leading them as Percy thought that neither Crash nor Fúria should lead. Percy sat down on the ground and started meditating. He wanted to know what the change in his body was since he almost died.
He felt like had some sort of awakening when he brushed shoulders with death. He now knew what aura truly was. When he was unconscious he felt his aura fleeing his body. Percy now had significantly more control over his aura.
He could control his aura type better which was energy release. He could send out his emotions via aura and could scare people and Pokémon. Recently he learned he could knock things out if his aura is intense enough.
Percy was trying to replicate the same feeling he had before when he was clawed on his chest. He sat on the ground meditating trying to stabilize all the aura in his heart.
He was trying to find a place to put his aura so he can develop and train his aura. He spent 15 minutes pulling the aura from all corners of his body into his heart.
Percy felt 5 energy signals enter his surrounding area. He opened his eyes and turned to the approaching Pokémon. He saw Pharaoh, Crash and Fúria dragging two Pokémon with them.
Percy checked their bodies for injuries and saw that Crash had a few scratches but everyone else was fine. They walked up to Percy and dropped the Pokémon in front of him. Percy looked at the unconscious Pokémon and saw two Sentrets.
He pulled out his Pokédex and checked the Pokémon's stats. Both of the Sentrets only had white potential and had nothing special about them. "Use Rest Crash." Crash fell asleep and then healed himself. Percy humanely killed both of the Sentrets and skinned them.
He stored their Pokémon parts and took some firewood from his Pokédex. He lit the fire with Pharaoh and pulled out a large pot. He waited for Crash to wake up before filling the pot with his water.
He set the pot above the fire and started cooking the Sentret. "You guys can go back out. The soup will be ready in about half an hour." It was still only 6 in the morning and it was barely light outside. Percy was going to take the bad Pokémon and all the time he has on his hands to get into cooking.
He had a notebook where he wrote everything he did in the recipe. From things from whow many times he stirred and the intervals in which he stirred to how long it should cook. He was writing everything he did.
While he was cooking he had absolute attention on what he was doing. Although he was a bit concerned cause he couldn't see everything around him. He had settled in a clearing of short grass that was surrounded by tall grass.
If Percy couldn't sense Pokémon with his aura he never would've done this. Percy cooked the soup for 25 minutes and started meditating while waiting for it to cool down. He felt 6 aura signatures enter the grass around him and he looked toward it. Crash and others had returned and in worse condition than before.
Crash had more scratches and Fúria was poisoned. They came back with Fúria limping to Percy. Crash and Pharaoh dropped the Pokémon they had knocked out. Percy first sprayed Fúria with an antidote and patted her head. He stood up and checked the Pokémon that they had brought back.
There were 3 Ekans that were brought back. The most interesting thing was one of the Ekans had green potential. It must've been a decent fight because all of the Ekans were level 16. Percy assumed the reason that Pharaoh was the only one who was unhurt was that he was good with his ranged moves.
Crash would always be in the front as he was an idiot and a berserker. Fúria didn't have any ranged moves and even if she did, it would do near zero damage as her special attack sucked. He asked Crash to use Rest and caught the green potential Ekans.
Then he poured a bowl of soup for him and his Pokémon. He and his Pokémon dug in and he reviewed his own food. "Mm not enough salt. I wonder what spices would go good with this. Too bland." He said. Crash and Fúria couldn't seem to care less as they had spent a lot of energy on their battles.
Pharaoh ate politely and quietly. By the time they were done eating, most of Fùrias injuries were almost healed. Percy sat down and started meditating. His Pokémon stood around him and took turns watching their surroundings while the others slept.
After about half an hour later Percy opened his eyes and sent his Pokémon out again and to be more careful this time. He decided to repeat the same thing he did when he was scratched. Percy released a violent and scary energy in an attempt to replicate the feeing he had before.
After releasing intense energy for about 30 seconds Percy stopped as he was too tired to continue. He fell on his back panting heavily. "I'm not ready for this. It's sooo exhausting." He said to himself. His stomach now felt empty and he was completely out of energy.
After sitting on the ground for about 5 minutes Percy stood up and walked back to the pot that still had soup in it. He dished himself some soup and ate it quickly. He saw the Ekans on the ground that he had forgotten to skin and decided to skin them while his energy regenerates.
He finished his soup and skinned the two Ekans. He didn't know if it was safe to cook their bodies without proper preparation so he just took their fangs. He threw their bodies to the side and started meditating again.
After about 10 minutes of meditating Percy felt his Pokémon coming back. He opened his eyes as they walked toward him and he greeted them. Pharaoh stopped in front of Percy and drew something in the dirt.
He drew what looked to be a teddy bear with a crescent moon on its forehead. "You guys found a Teddiursa?" Percy asked. They all nodded. "Do you think you can beat it on your own?" They shook their heads no. "Alright, let me clean up here and we'll get going" Percy quickly put away his soup pot and cooking equipment.
He followed his Pokémon at a jogging pace until they stopped and crouched. Percy dropped to the ground with his Pokémon and edged up. He saw two Pokémon playing in a small clearing of tall grass. He pulled out his Pokédex and looked at them.

Percy was surprised by the dark yellow Teddiursa. It had a move that it couldn't normally learn. Rock Slide was a decent move for a wild Pokémon. Especially since the Pokémon is unable to learn the move in normal circumstances.
Percy thought that maybe the Teddiursas parents had taught it Rock Slide so they can steal honey from Beedrill. He watched the bears play in the grass and issued orders to his Pokémon. "Crash I want you to engage with the bigger Teddiursa. Fúria you also engage with the bigger one.
But you distract it and help Crash do damage. Pharaoh you need to take out the other one. I'll let you decide on what you need to use to defeat it as quickly as you can.
I want both Pharaoh and Fúria to use Swords Dance and Bulk Up to the max before we attack them. Pharaoh be careful of the Teddiursas Rock Slide move it can do some serious damage to you. After we defeat them I'm going to heal you guys and we're going to dip as fast as possible.
I really don't want to run into an angry Ursaring right now." Percy finished explaining and sent the signal to move out. His Pokémon circled around in the tall grass and attacked their targets after buffing themselves to the max.
Pharaoh lunged at one of the Teddiursa and his paw glowed grey. He clawed the Teddiursa and a long line of blood appeared on its back. It shrieked and stumbled back. The other Teddiursa saw this and growled aggressively.
She prepared a move and was about to attack Pharaoh before Crash slammed into her. He slammed his Aqua Tail into he back of the Teddiursa and growled aggressively. The Teddiursa recovered and prepared a move ready to attack Crash.
All of the sudden he ground below the Teddiursa broke open and Fùria emerged from beneath. Teddiursa took the attack full on as it was preparing a move and couldn't move. It flew a few meters into the air where it came back down.
Crash was preparing his own move again and slammed his Aqua Tail into the falling Teddiursa.
Pharaoh was doing well against his opponent and had already hit the Teddiursa 3 times with Metal Claw. The Teddiursa was bleeding badly and was severely injured. Pharaoh had been hit by the Teddiursa twice by Fury Swipes.
The Teddiursa slid back and started running away. Pharaoh wouldn't let it go and blasted a Flamethrower at it. The Flamethrower blew into the Teddiursas back and it flopped on the ground unconscious.
The last Teddiursa was still fighting aggressively against Fúria and Crash. Fúria jumped toward the Pokémon and swung her red hand. The Teddiursa prepared it's own move and glowed white. It blasted toward Fúria and slammed against her hand.
The Teddiursa was a higher level but Fúria had a type advantage. They both flew back and the Teddiursa fell on its back. She tried to stand up but fell on her back unconscious. She seemed to take recoil damage from using Take Down.
Percy immediately got up from his hiding place and sprinting into the short grass clearing. He immediately sprayed a potion on the Teddiursa so they don't suffer from being untreated. Then Percy caught them.
He healed his Pokémon with 2 more potions and called them back to their pokeballs. He immediately sprint in the opposite direction the one Teddiursa was fleeing to. He thought there must've been a reason that the Pokémon was running in that direction.
He ran for about a minute until he heard a loud roar from where he came from. He glanced behind him and doubled his pace. Percy ran for about 10 minutes until he thought he was safe. He sat on the ground and rested for a few minutes.
He released all his Pokémon and made sure they were completely healed. After seeing that they were all good he congratulated them. He rested for a few minutes and left walking in the opposite direction of the Ursaring. He walked with his Pokémon in front of him reading his Pokédex.
He was looking at the map looking for any interesting Pokémon developments in the area. He read reports of patches of burned grass had been found in the area. Percy decided to settle down and spend the rest of the day hunting Pokémon. He sat down on the ground with his Pokémon and rested.
After resting for half an hour he stood up and stretched his body. He glanced at his Pokémon and said "For the rest of the day were power leveling. Anything I see as long as I think we can beat it will be defeated. If you guys need more time to rest tell me." Percy watched his Pokémon and after seeing no objections started walking in a random direction.
He was sort of angry at his complacency in his strength. After he heard how Haley was so strong he became unhappy with himself. He though that even if he had the same amount of time as her he wouldn't have trained to her level.
From what he saw he doesn't even think that Herry is her main Pokémon. He was going to try to push his Pokémon and himself to the absolute limits to achieve strength. Percy walked with a new vigor and motivation that couldn't have been found before.
