Chapter 9 - Chapter 09- Sister

When Sachiko turned six, she was sent to the primary school Yumi was going and she was absolutely hating every second of it.

Sachiko sighed as a six year old wannabe gang leader started talking about how Sachiko did not have a dad and how weird she was, etc.

Honestly, Sachiko didn't care about those beginner-level insults. They weren't anything she hadn't heard of and she was long used to it since her past life. So, Sachiko just sat there and stared at the kid until he shut up.

"Is that all you can think of? Your insults are weak, ne~" Sachiko said as the six year old finally ran out of his "insults". Well, they were six year olds so Sachiko wouldn't expect them to be that good and the stare she was giving him was absolutely creepy, especially to a six year old.

"You..you are a weirdo like that weirdo Yumi. No one even wants to be friends with you!!!" The kid stuttered but still tried hard to make his point like he was fighting for the power dynamic in class.

Sachiko looked at the kid with no interest yet her voice was somewhat upbeat as if she was talking to a friend. Except that the words were far from it, "Great! I don't want to be friends with any of you too! I'm too much of a genius to hang out with some stinky kids."

"You're lying just like the weido Yumi! My sister says that weirdo Yumi had another weirdo sister and how the weirdo kept saying she didn't any friends except her sister. But actually no one really wants to be friends with her! Not when they can be friends with my sister!" The kid kept saying without realizing Sachiko actually got angry at this point.

Sachiko didn't expect that the reason Yumi didn't have any friends would be related to this kid's sister and now he was trying to join his sister in bullying. She remembered how Yumi told her not to leave her and thought about how Yumi must've felt.

Sachiko always had been an emotional person when it came to people she held close and she had long considered Yumi, Misaki and Yuki as her family. There was no way she wouldn't get angry over Yumi getting bullied.

"So...you're saying your sister is the reason Yumi have no friends?" Sachiko asked. Despite trying to stay calm, she was getting a little riled up and her cursed energy flow was getting a bit unstable. Sachiko knew she would end up attacking someone with cursed energy if that continued so she started using Cursed Energy Control to control her cursed energy better and calm herself down. Then, she got an idea.

She might not physically attack the kid but that didn't mean she couldn't do some invisible damage.

"Obviously, no one wants to be..." The kid answered but Sachiko

"You know what? Your sister is actually lying to you." Sachiko said as she walked over to the kid and tapped his shoulders as if she was comforting him. She then whispered a few sentences to his ear and after that, went back to her seat to watch him crying.

Misaki was called to school shortly after that and Sachiko was taken home that day. Later, it turned out that she was suspended for "bullying" a classmate. Sachiko didn't care but Misaki was offended that her sweet baby was treated unfairly because she firmly believed that it was impossible for her baby to be bullying others.

So, Sachiko ended up being home-schooled and she convinced Misaki that she could learn everything related to school just by reading books. Although Misaki was skeptical at first, she was convinced when Sachiko did the middle school level math by reading a book. In the end, Misaki left her alone with books and Sachiko couldn't be happier.

Yumi, on the other hand, kept going to school but would stop by at her place every day and ask her tons of questions.

"Sachiko chan, you said you made the kid cry, right? How did you do it? They are usually so mean.." Yumi asked as soon as she saw Sachiko. Sachiko didn't really want to answer that so she had been dodging it for a few weeks now. But Yumi was a different breed when it comes to determination.

"Shhh...Yumi, you're not supposed to say that out loud. It's our secret, remember?" Sachiko said as she looked out for Misaki. She definitely didn't care that much but Yumi believing whatever little thing she told was too cute and she found herself playing around with Yumi.

"Ohhh...right, sorry, Sachiko chan." Yumi whispered.

"Alright, I'll tell you a bit." Sachiko said proudly like she did the most glorious deed in the world, "I bursted his fragile childhood beliefs and dreams. Like Santa's not real, his mom is probably not happy with his dad and they will probably split up. And, of course, I also told him that I saw his mother picking him up from the garbage disposal when he was a baby."

"But if he was a baby, you were a baby that time too!! How can you..." Yumi was confused.

"Well, he doesn't know that logic." Sachiko said with a shrug.

"But lying is bad." Yumi said seriously.

"He called you a weirdo which isn't even true so what's wrong with me lying to make him cry? He had it coming." Sachiko said without a care. That kid and his sister were mean to Yumi and Yumi meant more for her than two mean kids. So, Sachiko didn't care even if the kid got emotional damage.

On the other hand, Yumi had a big smile on her face at Sachiko's words and she exclaimed, "Sachiko chan, you love me!!!"

"Yeah, idiot Yumi. You better love me just as much or I will annoy you to death." Sachiko said with a chuckle.

"But you already annoy me."

"You are the one who's been annoying me since I was a baby, idiot Yumi."

"That's not true. You loved me!!! You even called my name as your first words!" Yumi wanted to make her point so badly. Why was Sachiko chan always denying that she loved Yumi since she was a baby?!

"I remember calling you an idiot."

"I don't care, you called my name."

"Yeah. Idiot Yumi..that's what I said."

"Whatever." Yumi pouted like she always did when she didn't win an argument and Sachiko smiled.

"I think I don't mind you being my sister after all."

A/N:

Hi, sorry for the late update, I couldn't decide if I should keep writing Sachiko childhood or do the timeskip now because it's been a few chapters and she hasn't met any canon characters yet.

Please let me know your opinions. Like should I do the timeskip now or do you want a few more slice of life before she actually becomes a sorcerer?
