Chapter 10 - Chapter 10- Leave town or not?

When she was not hanging out with Yumi, Sachiko trained her cursed techniques and she convinced Misaki to let her learn some martial arts for self-defense. The excuse she gave to Misaki was actually bullshit because she could already blast any non-Jujutsu sorcerer without any actual combat skills.

The real reason was she wanted to get stronger and kill stronger curses. Right now, according to her own estimation, she could kill a grade 2 curse with the use of her cursed techniques.

In theory, Sachiko knew she could blast any curse without proper intelligence to death with sheer cursed energy if she managed to get a certain level of cursed energy output. But she also knew that it wouldn't work for intelligent curses as they could be cunning and Sachiko didn't have enough skills in using Jujutsu just yet. There was also the problem of not being able to manage the cursed energy output accurately without her Cursed Energy Control technique.

Since Sachiko was only six years old now, she wasn't too worried about her current strength. As long as she trained herself, she believed she could get much stronger.

As such, she trained everyday to improve her cursed techniques.

Sachiko learnt how to watch some possible scenarios and used Possibility to predict the moves of curses in real time without much difficulty.

-------------------

Nine years passed somewhat slowly and Sachiko had grown into a fifteen year old teenager girl. With her metallic silver hair, silver eyelashes and hazel eyes, she stood out in town. It also helped that she got full marks in every exam she sat and she was known as the genius of the town. Sachiko actually cheated with her cursed techniques to know the questions ahead and sometimes choose the right answer in multiple choice questions using Possibility. But, neither her mom nor people in the town knew of that so everyone regarded her as a genius.

Misaki was so proud of her daughter and she believed Sachiko was the best thing that happened to her. This led Misaki to spoiling her and turning a blind eye to whatever pranks or mischiefs Sachiko decided to pull.

Sachiko knew that and of course, she was taking advantage of it. Now, she was sneaking out of her boring school as usual and her plan was to check out some areas for more curses before heading to Internet cafe to play some games.

Sachiko climbed out of the school fences just because she could and also thought it would be cool and after that, she walked around the area to find some traces of curses. She had been noticing the increasing number of curses as she grew up and the number of curses was over a few times than when she was a baby. She had been exorcizing curses as much as she could but even then she noticed the increasing number as time goes by.

At first, she just thought she hadn't checked out the whole town and some curses were laying dormant but as she grew up, Sachiko realized that the number of curses were just increasing.

After a while, Sachiko came up with a few hypotheses. The first one was that the number of curses were increasing due to an external factor she didn't know. The second one was the curses were driven to here by some random curse or sorcerer. The third one was more curses were born from the jealousy of the town people as she became more amazing day by day.

Sachiko thought that the third made the most sense because town people were non-Jujutsu sorcerers, meaning their jealousy and negative emotions could indeed give birth to curses. As for why they would be jealous, why wouldn't they? Sachiko knew she was pretty, smart and stylish. So, for her, the third hypothesis made the most sense.

But, she wasn't against the first hypothesis either. She didn't know much about the curse situation in the rest of Japan as she had never went outside of her town in this life. As such, she didn't rule it out completely.

As for the second hypothesis, Sachiko didn't really know what to make of it. She had yet to meet any Jujutsu sorcerer or curse user and she definitely hadn't see any residuals of other people's cursed energy in this town. So, Sachiko didn't think this one could be true.

Anyway, Sachiko didn't really pay too much attention to it as she was currently unsure on what she wanted to do in the future. She wanted to get stronger but she wasn't entirely sure if she wanted to become a Jujutsu sorcerer. Her memories were blurry and she could only remember a few things about cursed energy, cursed techniques and the concept of Jujutsu sorcerers and curse users. But, apart from that, she didn't really know anything else about the world.

Another thing was Sachiko was somewhat reluctant to leave her current home just to become a Jujutsu sorcerer. She had found a new home in these fifteen years and Sachiko didn't want to not have a home anymore.

'This is always giving me a headche. I guess..I'll decide later. I'm only fifteen..maybe I can decide later...yeah.' Sachiko thought to herself as she walked and searched for curses.

Killing curses in this town had long become easy for her as she could now effectively use her cursed techniques in battle and maintain her best condition with the use of her cursed energy. Now, Sachiko could use reverse cursed technique to heal herself from minor to moderate injuries and she could also use it to maintain stamina, focus and cursed energy control to make sure that she was still in her best condition to fight.

So, even if she walked around the whole town lost in thoughts, she felt like didn't really need to worry about ambush of any curses. Her estimation was that she was now stronger than Grade-1 sorcerers and the curses in this town were like Grade-2 or semi Grade 1s. As for whether she could be considered special grade already, Sachiko wasn't too sure yet.

As such, Sachiko continued to walk around completely lost in her own thoughts and exorcized curses if she came across them. When she felt like it was enough for the day, she headed to the Internet cafe to play games.

The Internet cafe wasn't as lively since it was still school and work hours and most of the paying customers were still in schools or at their jobs. Sachiko walked to the counter and greeted the old man in charge.

"Hi, is my usual corner occupied?" She asked with a smile.

The old man put down his cigarette and looked at her with a frown as he noticed her school uniform.

"Aren't you supposed to be in school? This is like the third time this week and today's Wednesday."

"And?" Sachiko raised her eyebrows.

"Do you ever go to school at all?"

"Nope!!" Sachiko answered with an upbeat tone which earned a tired look from the old man.

"Seriously, kid, you better go back to school and pay attention to your studies. You should go to a good university and leave this small town."

Sachiko sighed, "I already have perfect scores so...can I just go and play games now?"

"I guess.. It's not occupied." The old man knew he wasn't winning so he just let her into the cafe.

Sachiko excitedly headed to her usual spot and started playing games. She wasn't that good at games but she didn't believe that she couldn't win a single game. She didn't win a single game and she headed home after ten loses in a row.

And, as she got home, she saw Yumi and Yuki waiting in the living room.

"Sachiko chan!! You're back!!!!" Yumi had a big smile on her face as she ran over to hug Sachiko. Sachiko looked at Yumi and thought, 'Maybe some things never change after all...'

Sachiko had a small smile on her face as she hugged Yumi back.

"..idiot Yumi..."

Maybe she wouldn't be leaving the town for a good while..

A/N:

Well, I promise there is still a plot and uh..she will meet Gojo..hopefully soon..

I just feel weird to let him meet her while she's still underage so they will meet after Sachiko turns eighteen and yeah, maybe she can join second years instead.

But I'm still open for a few more suggestions.

Edit : I edited some parts to kinda adjust Sachiko's current power. I didn't want her to be too strong before she even starts at Jujutsu school but then I realized I ended up nerfing her a little too much.
