When Monday came, Sachiko decided to head to her new school to kind of show her face before skipping classes again. On her way, she took her time to enjoy the scenery and different vibe of the city, which she enjoyed and found that she missed the city vibes after living in small town for fifteen years. As she walked slowly, she happened to saw a boy with pink hair running at an abnormal speed and passing her.
"What's that speed? Is he a car?" Sachiko found it really hard to believe as she didn't even see him using cursed energy.
"Screw the school. I'm chasing him!" Sachiko made a decision within a second because why would she go to boring school when she had just found something more interesting?!
So, she enhanced her speed to match the boy's running speed and chased him.
"Hey!!! Wait!!!!"
After running for three minutes, the boy stopped in front of a convenience store and Sachiko decided to strike up a conversation with him.
"Hey! I just saw you passing by and wow, you run really fast!" Sachiko said, which made the boy surprised.
"Wait, you were the girl I just passed a few minutes ago right? How did you get here so fast?"
"I run really fast." Sachiko shrugged, not really willing to explain about cursed energy. "You?"
"Yeah, me too." The boy said with a sheepish smile. "I once ran 50 meters in 3 seconds and everyone called me crazy....."
"Seriously? You don't happen to be named after a car, do you?" Sachiko said in a dramatic voice.
"No? My name is Itadori Yuji!" The boy introduced himself.
"I'm Nakamura Sachiko!" Sachiko said with a smile. "Ne...do you know why you can run this fast?"
"I have always been physically strong I guess?" The boy answered. "I don't really know why tho.."
"Eh? really? I thought you at least trained and stuff...." Sachiko didn't expect that this boy was naturally this strong without the help of cursed energy. 'What a monster...'
She didn't really know what else she could call him.
A non-sorcerer with superhuman abilities...
Interesting...
'But why do I feel like I've seen him before?'
"Hey, have I met you before?" Sachiko asked Itadori.
"Uh..no? I don't think I've seen you before.."
"I see..that makes sense. I mean I just moved to Sendai after all." Sachiko muttered to herself.
"Wow really? You just moved to Sendai?"
"Yeah!" Sachiko said with a laugh. "It's nice."
"It is!" Itadori agreed.
This whole time, Sachiko was looking at Itadori and thinking where she had seen him before it hit her. She saw a boy with pink hair in one of the possibilities of joining Jujutsu schools. At least, he didn't have tattoos on his face so maybe he wasn't the one killing people...
Or maybe he just didn't get tattoos yet seeing how he looked a few years younger?
The information made her a bit uncomfortable but the boy in front of her seemed too innocent and pure to turn into a maniac..
"Ohh wait. I think I'm late for school..I need to buy something to eat from the convenience store tho.." Itadori said.
"Right, I need to get to school too. Bye then!!"
Sachiko said before heading back to the school. While she was more interested in finding out how Itadori could end up at Jujutsu school, she knew she couldn't find that out today. Maybe she could take some time and see what would happen to him.
So, Sachiko headed to school with some kind of expectation for future.
---------------------
Sachiko moved into her new apartment two weeks later and in these days, she worked on her cursed techniques to understand them deeper and find what else she could do with them. She also took some time to train in combat and kill curses in her neighborhood but she tried to keep it under wraps as she didn't want to go to Jujutsu school yet.
Sachiko started to think that her new life was a bit boring, then she ran into that boy with pink hair again.
Itadori was interfering a scene where another middle school boy was being bullied.
Sachiko watched as Itadori handled the case pretty well without beating the crap out of the bullies, she didn't approve that the bullies walked away instead of crawling away but Itadori didn't seem to mind that the bullies could still walk.
'To each their own..I guess..' Sachiko thought.
"Hey, Itadori."
Itadori seemed surprised at her sudden appearance.
"Nakamura san! It's been a while! How're you doing?"
"Pretty great, I guess. I'm settling in." Sachiko said, then looked at the bullied kid.
"So...any reason they are after you?" She asked.
"Umm...n..no..? At least...I don't know.." The boy answered with a shaking voice.
"I see, they're assh***s.." Sachiko muttered. "So..what's your name?"
"...you can call me..Mori .."
"Okay, do you go to the same school with Itadori?"
This time, Itadori answered. "I don't think so? I mean I've never seen him before even though I know a lot of people in my school."
"I see..you guys look the same age so I thought maybe you go to same school haha.." Sachiko said. "Well..which school do you go to, Mori? Do you remember the names of the bullies?"
Mori nodded after a while and proceeded to tell her the names.
"..But..can I know ..what you are going to do?"
Sachiko smiled and said seriously, "Oh..I'm just going to send a few letters to the school and police. Not a big deal."
"But..I never got an evidence so they can't do anything..." Mori said dejectedly.
Sachiko moved a bit closer and said in a lower voice. "Actually..it's easier to fake evidence than find it so...."
"But it's illegal.." Both Mori and Itadori said at the same time.
"So is bullying and beating people up. But they're doing it, aren't they?" Sachiko pointed out casually.
"That's true...but.."
"No buts..Are you guys in or not?" Sachiko asked.
"I'm in..I mean this is my problem after all.." Mori said quietly. "I just want to know why you're helping me.."
"Simple," Sachiko replied, "I'm bored. And I don't like..bullies."
Which was true because Sachiko had been a victim in her past life and she had also seen Yumi getting bullied early in this life. She couldn't stop the incident from her past life but she stopped Yumi's case and she wanted to stop this one too. Not because she was a hero or wanted to save people she barely knew..but because she hated the concept of bullies and seeing the bullies made her remember what she had been through.
Mori looked really greatful at this point and that made Sachiko felt another ego boost.
'Like thank me for my amazing helppp. I'm amazing.'
Itadori looked excited for some reason, weird but Sachiko didn't really care. She still had to see how he would end up getting tattoos and killing people left and right so him sticking around might just be interesting.
