"Now, how should I tell mom that I'm leaving Sendai as well...she'd definitely get worried if I give her the same excuse I gave to Yuji.." Sachiko muttered as she walked back to Yuji's house where she was temporarily staying. She dialed her mom's phone number but had yet to make a call as she thought about what exactly to say.
'It's really surprising how mom always let me handle things the way I want despite her worries...'
Sachiko couldn't help but smile when she thought about that aspect of her mom and how she stopped referring her as Misaki and instead referring her mom like it was a natural thing.
It was a pleasant feeling and thinking about mom and Yumi made her always feel like she had a home to return to.
"I can't wait to see them again...Maybe I can visit them before I go and join Jujutsu school." Sachiko hummed at the thought.
She was about to call her mom when she heard a faint step behind her.
Sachiko started to feel chills in her spine and so she turned to look at it.
"So, you're the one that killed the curse there? You don't look much."
There was a woman about ten meters away from her and she said in a nonchalant voice.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Sachiko said. She was sure she removed the evidence that could connect her to the incident so how would this random woman know it was her?
"Oh, honey, cursed energy residuals aren't the only giveaway." The woman said with a smile.
"I see you've been stalking me." Sachiko said.
"Are you concerned?"
"Well, depends on your reason." Sachiko replied as she studied the woman. She was wearing some revealing clothes but they didn't look restrictive of her movement. Close combat might not be an option for that woman but Sachiko assumed she could somewhat fight and possess a useful cursed technique for mobility or spying purposes. Then, it could explain how this woman managed to stalk her long enough to figure out she was the one who killed the curse.
"The curse you killed..was supposed to be for master Geto." The woman said. "He wouldn't be pleased if I didn't bring you to him."
"How about I bring your body to him instead?" Sachiko said with a smile. This woman had been stalking her for who knows how long and she didn't feel comfortable having a curse user potentially know about her mom or Yumi.
"You can't kill me. Aren't you worried about what will happen to your mom if you put up a fight?" The woman said with her arms crossed. She looked as if she was sure of her victory.
"So, you're saying you know where my mom is or is it a threat?" Sachiko said with a smile, but this time, the woman felt chills in her spine.
"It doesn't matter." Sachiko said as she walked over to the woman and whispered into her ears. "You picked the wrong threat."
"Wh..what?"
The woman was too stunned to speak and when she came back to her senses, her neck felt warm and something was flowing onto her chest. She looked down to see the red blood staining her clothes and she realized her neck was hurting.
She felt shortness of breath and everything became blurry in a second.
In her last moments, she saw Sachiko holding something like a knife but it seemed to be made out of cursed energy.
"Well, this makes a nice murder weapon. Can you believe I could just make it disappear after I kill someone because it is made out of my cursed energy? It's practically no evidence." She muttered with the same chilling smile.
Maybe she intended her to hear it.
After the woman breathed her last breath, Sachiko deciced to throw the body into het domain and just straight out discarded the whole body in it. Maybe it was not the right way to dispose a dead body but it wasn't like she had experience in that area and she didn't want anyone to find out what she did.
Not because she thought she did wrong but because she simply didn't want to get her family involved.
And, for the first time since she left her home, Sachiko realized that she was no longer in her town where everything she did was invisible. There were curse users and she almost made her mom get caught up in the mess.
Sachiko let out a bitter laugh and deleted the number on the dial.
Maybe she should keep her distance for now.
----------------
Sachiko ended up leaving Sendai without another goodbye to Itadori or Mori.As she didn't want to get involved with more curse users or Jujutsu sorcerers, Sachiko decided to leave as soon as she could.
So, she got onto random trains and later, she found herself in Hiroshima. First, she decided to find a place to live and probably a job so that she wouldn't have to ask her mother for money.
But it turned out she legally couldn't rent a place or get a part-time job without her mother's consent because she was still legally a minor.
That led her to current situation. Faking her name, age and using a disguise before getting into an illegal gamblers.
Sachiko wanted to do lottery at first instead but realized it would raise suspicions to the public if she repeated it and how easy Jujutsu sorcerers could catch on it so she could only do the illegal thing and try to get away by abusing her cursed techniques.
Well, at least, she could earn some easy money by doing so.
So, Sachiko got into gambling for a while and got a good amount of cash in her hands.
But because she made it seemed like pure luck, no one really suspected a thing. There were still some people who wanted to use force to take the money back but they never succeeded in doing anything.
Somehow, they all ended up going crazy.
So, all in all, Sachiko's life was going great.
Or she thought it was the case.

A/N:
I don't know if this seems really rushed but this is one of the turning points for Sachiko.
Her mental state is not definitely not normal after the incident with the curse that almost killed her so her judgement and decision makings are like more messed up idk how to explain.
And yes, she will join Jujutsu high in a few chapters.
