She shook her head.
"Maybe, you were thinking of the bouquet you're holding during our wedding." Finally,
Jacob said. He sat down beside her.
"Maybe," she agreed. "Do I sound crazy?"
"Nope. You were dead tired last night. Are you hungry?"
"Not really…"
"Come on, join me… just some bites before you go back to sleep."
"Here?"
"If you like…."
She nodded.
"Such a baby in the morning," he teased. He was reaching her face.
She closed her eyes when his hand stroked her face. She inhaled deeply.
"Stop doing that. It makes me want to go back to sleep."
He laughed. And he stood up. "I need to order our food…."
"Okay, thanks."
JACOB dragged one chair near the bed, and they shared their breakfast.
"You're not working today?"
"You're kidding, right?" Disbelief in his eyes.
