[Sleeping skill, increased.]
"Ahhhh!! I already told you that I'm not a cake!!" And with another strange scream just as he woke up inside the Sharance tree, a new day began for our beloved protagonist. After saying goodbye to Marian, the day before, Blake suddenly felt very tired and opted to go home by teleporting so he could sleep in peace, and rest from everything that had happened. "Sigh... Will this become a routine? Won't you let me sleep, even a little more, system?"
But as we all know, no one had even the slightest interest in answering his questions, causing him to just sigh as he rubbed his eyes, and with great difficulty got out of his comfortable bed.
"Yawnn... I guess I'll have to get used to it. It seems that the sleeping skill increased again... Well, I'll go water the crops." After tidying up a bit and seeing that everything was in its place, Blake went downstairs to be met by a sight that left him bewildered again. "Okay... I'm sure this is not normal."
The reason for his words was because in front of him were several full-grown flowers that gave off a really soothing scent to his nose.
"You are responsible, right? System. It shouldn't be normal for a plant to fully grow in so few days and Shara didn't tell me about this, I guess I'm cheating again..." Blake didn't want to think too much and started to collect all the already grown flowers, but meanwhile, more strange things happened. Just when he had taken the first toyherb, something appeared in the same place. "Can someone explain to me why a bag of seeds comes out of the ground?"
Although the question sounded strange, that was exactly what had happened, when Blake harvested the first toyherb, a bag of seeds of the same type as the flower appeared on the ground, which was anything but normal. He really wanted answers, but he knew no one could answer them other than the voice that never deigned to speak to him.
Blake kept the flower and the seeds, after all, he wasn't going to complain about getting free seeds, and he went back to gather the other flowers that were left, but, as something that seemed to become normal, he got another bag of all the flowers he collected.
"It seems like they come out randomly, in the end, it's not too tricky... Now, what the heck is this?" That question was directed at something new. Just when he collected the last two flowers, something that he had never seen came out of them, two blue orbs of light began to float in the same place, they were the size of a fist and it seemed that they would not go anywhere else. Blake cautiously approached and took a closer look at these strange objects, only to be somewhat surprised afterward.
In both orbs, you could see how a large cluster of runes revolved around them. Blake already had a higher understanding of the runes and what they represented, but that was not the reason for his surprise.
"This is... Runic energy?" That was true, during all the time that he looked at those orbs, he could see how the runes that composed them did not belong to any element, and as far as he knew, those small orbs were pure runic energy. "I cannot believe that this appeared here, but why? It's supposedly too hard for runic energy to form on its own like this... It's too weird."
And while he was thinking his own thoughts, he didn't realize that his hand was about to touch one of those orbs and, after a moment, the voice of the system made him jump and realize what it was had just passed.
[Water skill, increased.]
"Did that sphere level up one of my skills?" Not entirely sure, he tried touching the other still-floating orb and was glad to see that he was correct.
[Earth skill, increased.]
"Hmm... If I had a lot of these orbs, it would be amazing, but I don't think I'll ever see something like this again, would I?" With the idea of checking out his plan another day, Blake turned his eyes to the turnips he planted earlier and could see that, like the toyherbs, these too had started to grow into a stalk with a few leaves.
Blake took the watering can and moistened the earth so they could continue to grow and went to the chest to put all the toyherbs he had gathered, but keeping one, and then left the field towards the center of town.
"I think it said on the bag of seeds that turnips take three days to grow, I should buy more toyherb too." Leaving his thoughts of the future, Blake realized that he had already reached his destination, but was disappointed to see the sign on the door of the florist. "Closed? But what time is it?"
[8:03 AM.]
"There's still an hour to go until it opens... Now, what do I do?" But it didn't take long for him to forget about that question as he saw the bulletin board next to him. "Maybe I can do a request while I wait... There's only one though."
And once he reached over, and took the piece of paper, the system voice made another one of his appearances.
[Do you want to accept the request?]
Blake just nodded and felt new information enter his head.
[Lumber quest...
Client: Sherman.
Please don't come!]
"Haha… He even writes with opposites. I guess I'll go see him." And with nothing to lose, Blake continued until he reached the large mansion that he already knew, and luckily, he could see the robust green-haired man right in the entrance while he devoured whatever it was in his hands. "Good morning, Sherman!"
"Oh, bad days for you too, Blake. Today we have a terrible day, what brings you here?"
"Well, I saw the request and thought I'd help you with it."
"Oh, I see, you are not much help. You see, I just don't want to gorge myself on sea gratin!" Blake didn't really understand what he meant by that, he just let him go on. "So you need a pot to not do that, plus a fire to cook on."
"I see..."
"So. I would hate for you to bring me nine pieces of wood. Of course, only with your body can you get them, so this is not a gift for you." And without Blake being able to react, something had already been thrown into his hands while the system seemed to be mocking him.
[You have been forcibly given a rusty ax!]
