'How is it so strong?! I know I'm still weak, but I'm sure if that arrow hits me, I'll end up in really bad shape!' But Blake didn't have time to continue with his thoughts when he saw a spiked iron ball go straight for his head and he had to put his sword in front of him to avoid the blow that one of the orcs was going to deal him at the same time.
[Species: Orc. Status: Furious.]
'You think I can't figure that out, damn system!' And just as he had successfully parried the blow coming at him, he saw another orc approaching from his side ready to plunge its weapon into his body, but before the orc knew it, a green flash came at it and a cut appeared on its chest.
Blake could see carefully that his sword partner took over to block the second orc and that calmed him down a bit to turn his attention to the enemy in front of him. Luckily for Blake, it seemed that the orc archer wasn't about to shoot, perhaps not to harm his companions or simply because he didn't see it necessary.
Having blocked enough and separated from the orc, Blake was ready to make his counterattack, but a red sphere floating at the bottom sent his plan down the drain.
'Damn, is there one of those things here too?! I've learned my lesson, I have to get rid of it, or won't do any good to defeat these orcs.' Blake didn't hesitate for a second when he saw that the orc was sufficiently away from him, he performed his dash technique and watched as the orc flew into the distance as he landed his attack.
Sensing that he now had a clear enough path, Blake ran as fast as he could to get right where that sphere was, but when he felt something hit his side burying itself in his body as blood began to flow and his bar of health was appearing with only a small part before it ran out, he realized that the archer hadn't wasted his time standing still in place.
"Cure!" Blake wanted to scream in pain right then and there, but he didn't hesitate as he quickly pulled the arrow out of his body and used the spell to heal himself.
That quick action was enough for the wound to close completely so that he could then keep running and avoid what little pain was left in him. This was seen by the archer who seemed to have a fury as if its pride had just been hurt, and it did not hesitate to shoot another one of its arrows in the direction of the blond far from him, but before said arrow reached its destination, it saw as a fireball impacted it turning him to ashes while it listened to the blond's taunts.
"Did you think you were the only one who can launch ranged attacks? You have a thousand years left to try to hit me again!" Blake gradually got used to the heat of the battle, despite the disadvantage he was in, he could hear how his partner was now fighting with the orcs before allowing him to continue.
After he took that arrow and saw how he didn't even have a chance to get close to do anything to the orc, something seemed to hit him in the head and make him remember that it hadn't occurred to him to use magic to defend himself, so when he saw the new arrow that it was coming towards him, he just conjured a fireball in his hand and launched it towards it, managing to destroy it.
Once he saw how he was only a few meters from the red sphere and that the orc seemed about to shoot another arrow, he dismissed the idea of reaching it and so used what he still wasn't sure would work.
'I hope nothing bad happens.' And just as that thought passed through his head as an arrow was already inches away from him, Blake seemed to give off a familiar aura as his eyes seemed to glow an incredibly intense grayish color so that afterward only what he was about to say could be heard. "Absolute time!"
At that precise moment, everything stopped, the movement of the trees, the sounds of battle, even the wind itself, everything was still, nothing was able to escape from that phenomenon, nothing except Blake who didn't even stop to appreciate what had just happened when a large totally dark orb had been generated in his hand and he had launched it in the direction of the red sphere even though his vision had suddenly been completely clouded by deep darkness.
That seemed like it wouldn't end, but in reality, it didn't last more than a few seconds when everything returned to normal Blake could see that the orb, he had launched continuously hit the red sphere, and then it exploded at the same time that Blake listened to the voice in his head.
[Dark skill, increased.]
But he couldn't pay real attention when saw the arrow that was about to go through his head, he was even about to use what he had done before again, but the exhaustion that hit him suddenly made it impossible for him to even move, he could only close his eyes and accept that this was his end, but he did not even manage to close them when he saw how a large hammer flew in front of him impacting with the arrow that was going to hit him at that moment at the same time that he could see how several balls of fire hit the archer who was in the distance causing it to recede.
Blake was bewildered, he still couldn't move, but once he saw how his sword partner approached him and heard a familiar voice, he was able to breathe a sigh of relief.
"You're lucky that it was passing through here or that arrow was going to leave you an ugly scar, haha." Then he could see the figure of that black hair that, despite drawing a drop of sweat from his comment, made him sigh relieved to know that maybe he could live another day.
