Chapter 30 - Day 30: Ambitius rainbow (II)

"It's amazing! It's beautiful! This is the piece that will show everyone what an amazing genius I am!" Blake was still in the same place admiring the scene while the girl could only be heard screaming at nothing. "I'll finally be famous! People will line up to interview me! I will give lectures in the most luxurious places in the world! Everyone will fight to invite me to the best events!"

After hearing all that, Blake was finally able to come back to reality and paid attention to how the girl screamed all her fantasies at the same time that various thoughts were popping into Blake's head.

'She seems like she's very upbeat.'

"But if I'm too busy, I won't be able to work on my art anymore. That would be a tragedy of monumental levels." And when Blake thought that she was beginning to doubt and become depressed, that feeling was crushed in a second with a force greater than the emotion she had experienced before. "I know! I will need assistants!"

'That's a good idea.'

"Probably hundreds of them!"

'I think that would be a bit of an exaggeration.'

"Hmm... I'll have to start looking." Just when her voice stopped, Blake felt a chill that he already knew, that chill told him that he had to run away at the slightest chance he had, but it was useless since the girl turned at that very moment and as if she was faster than the speed of light, she positioned herself in front of Blake as she pinned him against the wall making him feel deja vu.

"H-Hello..." It was the first thing that occurred to him to say, Blake was totally attentive to any movement that the other party would make, but it seemed like he was being ignored again.

"Hmm..." Blake no longer felt strange as on the previous occasions that they looked at him judging every part of his being, so he calmed down better and tried to improve the situation.

"This... Excuse me?"

"Hmmmmm..." Again, that sound came out of the girl's mouth as a sign of evaluating the confused blonde of hers in front of her. This made him begin to question if that girl in front of him was okay.

"I... Uhh... What are you looking at?" Already waiting for the same sound to come out of her, Blake was surprised when the girl spoke again, but this time there were words instead of the monotonous sound from before.

"Your nose, your cheekbones... Your face is... Simply fascinating." Those simple words were enough to make Blake nervous, he was trying his best to ignore the beauty of the girl in front of him, but having her so close and having her still say that made his face even more nervous.

"W-What?!"

"You should be my model sometime!" It was then that he understood exactly what he was referring to by all the actions she had done up to that point, and it made the nerves that Blake felt previously melt away.

"Model...? Uh, sure, I guess I could do it."

"Excellent! You could not find a better artist to capture your beautiful forms! Painting, sculpture, mixed media... There are so many options! I am a master in all of them, an extraordinary artist! Rainbow!" And again, Blake was able to taste a bit of the great energy that he gave off from her as well as the strange scream that seemed to characterize her.

"Haha... That sounds impressive, I suppose you are a very good artist."

"You better believe it!... Actually, you might be a better assistant than a model."

"Huh?" Then Blake knew that he once again had gotten into a strange new situation from which he would have no escape whatsoever.

"What is your name?"

"Blake, my name is Blake, it's my pleasure..." Blake had already resigned himself, but he remembered his goal of coming to that precise place.

"Blake? Huh. I'm Daria, nice to meet you. What do you think of the offer? If you accept, I will give you permission to come to my studio whenever you want to see my works of art." Blake felt that the offer was not very tempting, but thanks to his experience gained the day today, he knew that in the end, it was better to accept fate so that everything would end well.

"Let me think a bit before answering you..."

"So you are one of the people who love to think... So you will not achieve anything, you must throw yourself fully into danger and emotions, otherwise, you will never enjoy being alive, this is how I manage to generate beauty and life in my art, art is my life, therefore, I will live my life to the fullest!" The force behind those words was enough to make Blake feel relatively moved, but he still had his common sense almost intact.

'She seems to be too... eccentric.' "Well, I..."

"Wait, what time is it?!" Before Blake said another word, Daria blurted out that question like it was too important for some reason.

"Time?"

[8:23 PM.]

'It's still convenient.' "It's almost eight-thirty."

"It can't be, I'm already late for my night bath! I'm sorry my dear assistant, but I'll have to say goodbye for today, don't even think about traveling because when you least expect it, I'll go for you so that we can show the world the beauty of my art! come on, repeat with me! Rainbow!"

"R-Rainbow..." That scene could never be erased from Blake's mind. Once they had both finished giving that war cry, Daria bolted out of the house leaving Blake with a face of not knowing what to do. "Well... I guess it's time to go back before anything else happens to me."

But before starting to walk, the voice of the system made its presence to tell him something that would make his day not end yet and make him sigh with some fatigue at the same time.

"Sigh... And I wanted to go to bed, oh well, I hope it won't be long..."

[Progress... Saved.]
