Blake kept walking and without realizing it, he had reached the place where he began his journey, in front of the huge tree that was now his home.
"So I went back to the beginning, I think the best thing would be to ask for directions..." But before he finished talking to himself, he saw how a silver hair girl came out from one of the entrances on the ground floor of the huge tree and it began to speak.
"I think the person you were talking to left a long time ago. (He must feel very lonely)."
"Huh? It's you, Karina. Good evening, what are you doing here?"
"I'm finishing my work. (I'm very sleepy)."
"Work? Oh, so you went for the things I put in the shipping box?"
"Yes, although there were only a few weeds inside. (At least it wasn't much)."
"Oh yeah, sorry about that, next time I'll make sure to put a lot more stuff on it."
"You don't need to exaggerate. (Do you want to give me more work?)." Blake was about to ask another question when the voice of the system spoke again.
[Acquired: 9G.]
'Huh? Why is that?'
"The payment for things is in the shipping box, you'd better pick it up before something happens to it. (It's not like there are thieves around here, but you never know)."
"I understand." 'Is that's why it's strange how the system works.' Taking a little attention from Karina, Blake opened his inventory to see her income. '169G, I just started my new life and I'm almost bankrupt.'
"See ya. (This was the last thing; I can finally go to bed)." But Blake didn't let her go so easily.
"Karina, wait."
"What? (Better be quick)."
"It's nothing, I just wanted to ask you if you know how to get to the Privera forest."
"Yawnnn... Why do you want to go there? (Not that I really care)."
"I'm in the middle of a request and I need to go see Daria, do you know how to get there?" After Blake finished speaking, an awkward silence was present, for some reason Karina didn't say anything, which made him nervous because he thought he had said something that had bothered her, but just when he thought about apologizing, he realized the reason. Karina was completely asleep, that made him sweat and he thought it best to wake her up. "Karina..."
"💤💤💤..."
"Karina!"
"💤💤... Eh? What's wrong? (I was dreaming that I was sleeping on a cloud)."
"I asked you if you know where the Privera forest is."
"Ah, that, yes, come follow me. (I wonder what is for dinner)." After Blake ignored that particular scene a few moments ago, he began to follow her on the same path that he had taken this morning to the center of town where it was Karina's house and she was about to go inside when Blake got her attention again.
"Excuse me, Karina..."
"Huh? Ah, yes, just follow that path and you will reach the forest. (I had completely forgotten about him)." Karina had pointed out a path that was full of trees and with slight lights in the background.
"I see, thank you very much for the help, I hope you sleep well, see you tomorrow." And so Blake continued on his way but not before saying goodbye with a slight smile to the sleepy Karina.
"See you tomorrow. (Hmm... He actually seems to be someone nice). Yawnn..." After Blake had followed the trail without deviating, he managed to get to what appeared to be an open field, there was not much to see around. Since the darkness of the night made it impossible, he practically didn't know what to do next until a small house came into his line of sight.
The house was small and made of wood, it seemed very simple if it weren't for the colorful rainbow-like roof and the strange statues that were around it.
"Will this be the right place?" With nothing to lose, Blake decided to knock on the door of the small house, but there was no answer. "I guess there is no one."
About to leave, he noticed that the door was slightly open, so he thought it was okay to take a little look to make sure. Once he entered, his vision was flooded with an immense number of colors and strange figures everywhere, in addition to the intense smell of paint that could knock out even a troll, the interior of the house could be said to be a complete disaster, there were many paint stains all over the place, art tools hung everywhere, and there were sculptures that not even the most twisted mind could tell they were.
Blake was between puzzled and confused, but for some reason, he couldn't take his eyes off the place. Even though it seemed that a tornado had swept through the site, all the paintings, sculptures, and drawings were practically hypnotic and Blake would have stayed in that same place if it had not been for a voice to bring him out his trance.
"La laa laaa🎵." A slight hum, but that simple melody was enough to make him feel that it was the most beautiful voice he had ever heard in his life, but unfortunately, he could not continue listening since that same voice made him jump thanks to a weird yell. "Rainbow!"
That was when he could see who that beautiful voice belonged. She was a girl, her hair was a light blonde color and you could see that she had huge pigtails on both sides, her eyes looked like two beautiful aquamarines and her clothes like the interior of the house were full of paint, but what stood out the most were his large ears that could be seen with the naked eye.
Blake stared at her as if he was lost in his image, and that was true since it was not the first time it had happened, the same thing happened when he first saw Shino and the reason for that was because... That girl was just as beautiful!
