"Even you would end up hurt if you meet a person bumping into them, right, Blake?"
"What…?" Carlos asked with a confused face.
"When I came back from taking a bath, I was running when I collided with Blake, seriously, why did you stop in the middle of the road? The ground was really hard, although thanks for cushioning my fall." The silence and the sound of the wind it was all that was heard after that until a laugh filled the place.
"Hahahahahahaha! So that's it!" Blake didn't know how to feel, he almost ended up in a bad situation because of a silly misunderstanding, and the laughter and the blows on the back from Carlos did not cause him any fun. "Excuse me, Blake. I think it was a misunderstanding hahaha!"
"Argh!... Don't worry... Haha..."
"Eh? What are you talking about? Are you hot, Blake? you're sweating a lot."
"Nothing, hahaha. Blake, help Carmen when you can, she is a very easy girl to fool."
"Ehhh? Who is easy to fool?!"
"Hey, I told you not to use swordfish as a weapon again!"
"What, are you scared?!"
"Oh, now you see!" And thus began a battle between both brothers that seemed capable of destroying the entire place. Blake could only slip away from the place while he heard the war cries coming from within. And once outside, he could sigh as he turned and looked at the store sign.
'Carlos Complex, open from 8 AM-6 PM.' "I hope I don't have to come back at a good time..." Since he escaped from that pair, he decided to go back the way he came and continue to the right. He still had to introduce himself to the other people in town and it was almost noon.
"I hope I don't come across anything strange again." After walking around a bit, he was able to observe what appeared to be another store, he walked over and saw a sign with a drawing that appeared to be a woman on top of a syringe.
"That poster doesn't give me anything to understand..." 'Witch's Cauldron, open from 9AM - 6PM.' "It still doesn't tell me anything, does the witch Shara spoke of lives here?" With nothing to lose, he decided to walk through the door praying for his physical and mental health. Once inside he could see what was there, an immensity of herbs, books, and medical artifacts was found in the place, in addition to a strange smell that came from the depths of the store. Blake saw no one and thought about coming back later, but before he finished that thought, a huge hat with an even bigger syringe appeared in front of him.
"Oh, a patient!" Blake had already seen a lot of strange things this morning, but nothing like a chattering hat. "What hurts? Your head? Your chest? Somewhere that embarrassment you to say?"
"What…?"
"I see... You're too sick to speak coherently..." Blake felt that the strange hat was ignoring him, but what he realized was that her voice sounded like a girl. "Don't worry! This puncture will heal everything!"
Then he could see her. That strange hat was actually a girl, her hair was light blue, she was wearing a witch-like costume and her purple eyes shone with great emotion while in her hands she raised that giant and strange syringe towards the scaring Blake.
"Wait, I'm not sick!"
"Haha, don't be nervous! It will only hurt for a second! Although, sometimes the pain can last a bit..."
"But really, I'm not sick...!" Blake was walking backward unconsciously as he began to sweat, and like almost everyone he has encountered in this town, it seemed like the light blue-haired girl was unaware of what he was trying to tell her. He could sense that recently he had come out of certain death to enter another, his only option was to run away and use the teleport spell, but a voice made the girl stop.
"Enough, Marian..." Those simple words were enough to dispel the situation that was about to happen. Blake turned his attention to where that voice was coming from and what he could see was an old woman who could truly be said to be a true witch. She was wearing an even bigger hat, like a witch's costume, her silver hair was tied up and some small wrinkles could be seen on her face as a kind smile formed on her. "I'm sorry, I knew this would happen..."
"Don't stop me, Grandma! It's a perfectly reasonable cure for his illness!"
"Sigh... I don't think you can call that a treatment that can fail half the time... Besides, he says he's not sick."
"What?" The hyperactive witch turned to Blake with an incredulous look on her face as Blake wondered if he still had time to escape. "Are you serious?"
"Yes, I think I told you several times..."
"Honestly, Marian... You are a silly witch trying to play doctor..."
"I'm not silly, Grandma! You're just out of date! There are things that magic can't cure. Also, have to adapt to the times."
"The first thing you need is to learn to properly care for patients! Then we can talk about the type of treatment to apply!"
"Hehe, don't worry, grandma! One day, the greatness of my medicine will be recognized! Ah, I know!" And without him realizing it, Blake was taken by the arm and dragged deep into the place.
"Let me borrow you for a second! I'll prove my medicine works!"
"B-Better let me think about it... We'll talk about this later, what do you think...?" Although he knew his pleas were useless, a miracle occurred and Marian released him.
"Great! If you get poisoned or sick, come see me! We sell medicines, magic wands, and spells! Make sure you come during the week because they are the days I work since my grandmother does it on weekends!"
"I don't know..." Blake was already preparing to escape and reminded himself that if he ever felt bad, he would wait until the weekend to come in for treatment.
"Fantastic! I'll be waiting for you!"
'She's not listening to me...'
"By the way... Who are you?"
"My name is Blake. Pleased to meet you..."
"Ah, that's right! Blake! A doctor never forgets the name of their patient, how do you go on?"
"Actually I think it's my first time here..."
"Of course not! You are Blake! You are a forgetful boy, hehe!"
'Sigh... I can't seem to keep up with her...'
"I am Marian! An apprentice doctor and witch! Come with me whenever you get sick! Remember, ALWAYS!"
"I-I'll remember..." Blake was helpless in front of her, but he sighed in relief when he saw how she turned away from him and began to stir whatever was in the huge cauldron at the bottom. He turned to the door but realized that the old woman was right next to it, so he decided to greet her. "Um... Hello..."
"Ohh, I've heard of you, you're the boy who moved to the Sharance tree, right?"
"That's how it is"
"My name is Marjorie. Before I used to be a great witch, but now I'm just an old woman..."
"My name is Blake, it's my pleasure."
"Hehe, how nice you are!"
"Um, thanks..."
"I'm also a doctor, but these days I leave most of it to Marian... Would you rather me or her treat you?"
"Haha..."
"You do not have to say anything. Normally, I would expect you to say that you want to be treated by a cute girl like Marian, but she can be dangerous for your health..."
"Well..." Blake didn't know what to say, he could only nod in his mind over the old woman's comment and wonder if the "treatment" she was thinking of giving him is so bad.
"Anyway, nice to meet you, Blake."
"Me too..." But just at that moment when Blake thought all danger was over, a noise made him know that he was very wrong.
"BOOOMMM!!!"
