Once inside, Blake could see that he was actually inside the tree and there was what you could say was a house with the basic things to live.
"This is incredible!" And while Blake was lost appreciating the whole place, Raven started to walk away from him again making Blake realize it. "Ah, you go?"
"Yes. My work is done." Once that almost robotic response of hers left her, the silence was present once more and Blake at least tried to ask the question that was on his mind.
"Why did you bring me here...?"
"I also wonder... Now that I'm done, I'm leaving." But before she even reached the door, she saw an orange flash rush through it.
"Pant... Pant... Pant! Sorry to keep you waiting, Blake."
"Don't worry, I haven't been waiting long." Blake said after hearing the exhausted gasps from the orange-haired girl as she began to speak again
"So, what do you think of the house?"
"It's very... Unique... I've never seen a house inside a tree before."
"Great! This is where you're staying, so I'm glad!"
"Yeah, since I'm going to stay here, it's... Wait, what?! Stay here? What are you talking about?" A face of confusion, surprise, and a bit of terror showed on the face of our dear blond.
"Eh? Didn't I tell you?... You're going to live here from now on, Blake!"
"Wait, when did we decide that?! I don't remember that conversation!"
"Exactly! There are many things you don't remember! You don't even know who you are, or what you're doing here!" Blake felt a low blow for that comment and showed a depressed face as he circled the ground with his finger as a small black cloud was over his head.
"Yes, I suppose you are right about that..."
"Besides, I think there's a reason you ended up here."
"Reason...?"
"Yes! Perhaps the sweet smell of flowers has brought you here!" A small bead of sweat could be seen on the forehead of Blake and Raven who had been silently listening to the conversation the whole time.
"A-Anyway, are you sure I can live here...?"
"Of course!" Although he did not remember anything, he was sure that the smile on the face of the girl in front of him was the brightest had ever seen. "Even my grandfather gave me permission!"
"Your grandfather?"
"Yes. My grandfather is the mayor of the village! So don't worry, and make yourself at home!"
"Haha, thank you very much."
"Oh, by the way, my name is Shara, and the one over there is Raven." Raven just lowered her head a little in greeting Blake as Shara spoke again.
"Let me welcome you to the Sharance town."
"Nice to meet you..."
"Nice to meet you too, Raven!" Perhaps due to Blake's big smile, Raven turned her head taking her attention from him and falling silent again.
"Now, let me explain the furniture you have in your new house, come, follow me!" Shara was running directly next to Blake right behind her towards a kind of wooden chest in the corner of the room. "This is your chest, you can store weapons, armor, objects, tools and other things, do not worry about how small it is, it is imbued with magic and is capable of storing many things, but the space is not infinite, remember it well."
"Wait, what do you mean it's infused with magic?"
"Don't you remember what magic is either?"
"I'm not sorry..."
"Well, I can explain that to you later. I hope you have understood how the chest works."
"Don't worry, I got it."
"Perfect! Then let's continue. The next thing would be... The fridge!" Blake was thinking that she mentioned the fridge as if it was the most exciting thing in the world while he realized that Raven was still in the same place silently. The fridge was a little bigger than he was, and it was made of a material like steel and gray. "In it, you can store vegetables, fruits, fish, seeds and food... Are you interested in cooking, Blake?"
"I am!"
"Great! If you ever prepare something, I hope you share it with me... And if you ever want to install a countertop, you can do it here." She said while pointing to the empty area on the side of the fridge. "If you have one countertop, you can cook! The chef of the town can help you get one and the other utensils you need, you should talk to him when you have the opportunity... Let's continue."
And so, Blake followed her across the room to an object that was attached to the wall.
"This calendar shows all the dates of the town festivals, you should see when them are celebrated, or you could miss them! You can also mark the birthdays of the people you know, so ask as many as you can! Speaking of that, my birthday is the 11th of spring, and Raven's is the 29th of spring, I hope you don't forget it and make sure to give us a gift, hehe."
"Haha..." He didn't know why, but he would make sure not to forget it for his own sake.
"Now let's continue, the following I suppose will be useful to you." They both went to another place in the room in front of a small log with what looked like a notebook on top of it. "This is your journal, I thought you should write in it to that you will not forget something else again, hehe."
"I'll make sure to use it..." Shara's little jokes brought a drop of sweat to Blake.
"And finally... The bed!... And that's what it is, a bed, it doesn't have much mystery. When you sleep in it, you will regain the energy you have lost during the day." Although it seemed that explanations should not be necessary, Blake made sure not to forget anything he heard. "Ah, you should write in your journal, so you won't forget what you learned today!"
"But I already..."
"No buts, come on, do it once."
"Okay..." And so a few minutes passed while Blake wrote in the diary what he had done that day... Without him knowing what the future held for him and everything that he was going to live from that day.
[Progress... Saved. Congratulations on the start of your new life.]
