"What did you add in these?" I barely lifted my head from the pillows with great difficulty and put my hands over the back of his headrest, shifting a little from my position on the back seat I scooted in the space between the front seats.
I yawned the kind of yawn that could shake the whole earth. I heard Alex snickering but my senses weren't cooperating so I am not sure that he did in fact laughed at me, because why would he? I tried to stretch the best I could in the confined space.
Rubbing my eyes I got up and with great difficulty managed to upright myself, I put one leg through the space in the passenger seat.
"What are you doing?" Alex looked back at me while keeping his hands on the steering wheel.
"I am resuming my post as your companion on this trip, eyes on the road," I maneuvered myself quite elegantly if I say so myself, in the tiny space between the seats without giving up.
