"We have more than just a problem," Alex hissed at me and I eyed him before opening the back door and getting the drinks from the cooler.
"We can't leave this woman and her baby alone here, it's getting dark," I tried to reason with him.
"Kara, we do not even know her for all we know she could be a thief waiting for us to take the bait, and we'll be behind schedule," I looked back at her and her child they don't even look remotely scary. I made up my mind there, we aren't going to leave them here alone.
"So? What if I was left stranded like this in the middle of nowhere wouldn't you want some good samaritan to help me out? And what schedule? Do we have to catch a train? I don't see why we can't just stay here and wait," I crossed my arms over my chest.
