I secured my hair up in a ponytail and looked around my room one last time making sure I wasn't leaving anything behind. Toothbrush check, mouth wash check, toothpaste check, hairbrush check, makeup pouch check, extra underwear check, perfume check, mints check, extra cash check, batteries check, disposable camera check, charger check.
I think everything important was there. I popped a mint in my mouth for the fresh effect. I wasn't sure what to pack so I packed my casual jeans and a few tops and just to be on the safe side a sweater and a jacket. Zipping up my travel bag, I dragged it down and picked up the letter I wrote for dad.
I wasn't all sure if I could make it home before him so I need to leave him a note just in case he thinks I forgot about him. I opened his bedroom door and just stood there taking everything in. His scent was lingering here and I closed my eyes and inhaled.
