"Have a seat, I'll be back in a moment,"
"Sure," instead of taking a seat I ventured around the penthouse. It was situated on the topmost floor of a high-rise building. The place is what you would call a bachelor pad. With a dark theme. The place looked straight out of an interiors magazine, with unique and dark wood furniture, simple yet elegant standing lamps all around the living room.
Floor-to-ceiling windows, a very artistic chandelier hung over the living room. I could spot a kitchen in the further back along with a study most probably or maybe that was his bedroom, where he just went into. Although the door was ajar I didn't go over there.
