Alex's POV
I have always been a star student. Something my parents took great pride in, funny how they are always the last to know about my results but the first to boast about my achievements in front of their friends.
Ever since I can remember, my mother had decided everything about me to the dot. From the food I eat to the school, I attend to the friends I would make and even what activities I could participate in. I was trapped in my own big empty house. I felt suffocated. All I wanted to do was run away, something I was too coward to do at the mere age of 14.
Throughout my junior school, I was the lone, shy, fat guy who was too pampered to play in the dirt or the sun. Mom didn't like the way kids would look after school, all dirty and smelly. I was personally advised by her to sit in during the breaks, eat only what I bought from home, and avoid the noisy kids. Otherwise, there would be harsh consequences.
