Carefully straightening my long skirt, I tuck it under my legs, the breeze here was strong-flying away my hair that I spent nearly an hour perfecting. Along with the breeze came the little sand grains flying and finding a home on my face and in my hair.
Perfect.
This is what I didn't have in mind when I told Alex about a more public meeting. He came at sharp 5 to pick me up, dressed again in formal wear, his usual black slacks, and a button-up shirt and I was in my usual long cotton summer dress. And if we were to judge anything, by the way, I was salivating at his side, his home would not do this time.
He too agreed quite quickly and wholeheartedly to spend this evening somewhere more public. But the beach was not it, I had thought maybe we would go to a quiet cozy restaurant or some café. Where I could take out the questionnaire I have prepared with a lot of thinking and a few suggestions from Cam.
