"Can we have a cheeseburger, fries, and a large coke to go please,"
"AND a chocolate sundae too," pushing forward on my seat I reminded Alex.
"A chocolate sundae as well, thank you," pinching his nose Alex rolled up his window and rested his head on the backrest.
"Aren't you going to order anything for yourself?"
"No, I think I've had enough,"
You all be wondering where are we and what are we doing? Worry not my friends, we're currently at Mcdonalds picking up my meal.
As you know I've had nothing to eat all day and now that I ponder over it I don't seem to remember why I wasn't eating in the first place?
Like can you imagine me without food? Oh please, food is the only reason I'm here on earth in the first place. Otherwise, I would be in a cool galaxy somewhere far off, making out with aliens.
Now that we're on the subject of aliens, who do you think has the most handsome aliens? Jupiter? Mars? Nah it probably would have only chocolate aliens and I don't think I could make out with one when all I want to do is eat them.
So, Mars is ruled out.
Next, we have mercury. But Nah the name doesn't sound good where I would wish to live.
What else do I have? Turning my head towards Alex I consider asking him but seeing as he is asleep or dreaming about some aliens himself, I turn my attention towards Jake.
"Jake, what planet has the most handsome aliens?"
"What?" This wasn't Jake this was my fiancé waking up from an alien-induced slumber.
"I was asking what planet hosts the most handsome aliens?" But I think he still doesn't understand my question because why else would he look at me like I asked him to chop off his arm and then count how many teeth does he have.
Barbaric and outrageous not to mention pointless.
But then again this question wasn't for him, Jake here our veteran would know everything, won't he?
Smiling once more I turned towards Jake, who by the way was ignoring me. But I think that is a discussion for some other day because my food was here.
Rolling down the window Jake passed me my bag. The car was suddenly filled with the heavenly aroma of fast food.
Ah-amazing !!
But all my plans to devour my meal came to an end when I remembered that I have puked, not once but twice today and my mouth isn't very food-friendly right now.
Putting aside the paper bag with a heavy heart I rested my head on the cool window.
"What you won't eat unless there is an alien present?" The mockery in Alex's tone was quite clear.
"Why are you jealous?" I've only just said that to put an end to this discussion but the strange flash of expressions tell me that I shouldn't let it go.
"Who me?" Pointing towards himself he scoffed and patted Jake on the shoulder.
"Home please Jake,"
"Yes sir,"
Immediately after instructing Jake, Alex pulled out his laptop and begin sorting some graphs, seeing as no one was quite in the mood to talk I decided to take a nap till we reach my home.
For some odd reason, there was a loud thumping in my head. Resting my head once more against the cool window I closed my eyes.
"Wake me when we reach my home," murmuring to no one in particular I drifted off to a dreamless sleep.

Alex's POV
Soft snoring noises drifted inside the car and I finally dared to close my laptop and turn towards Kara.
Working in her presence always proved to be some sort of shield for me against her charms.
Yes charms, and I'm not talking about her polite talk or soft smile. I'm talking about the thousand of them she has up her sleeve.
Which, until tonight I had no idea she possessed. Strange considering the fact that I've known her my whole life.
For instance, how she acts whenever I caught her off guard like today at her place. It wasn't in my plan to bring her to Mr.Cuttings party but considering how she left when we were at the boutique earlier I just wanted to see if she was okay.
And so one thing led to another and I was forced to buy a dress Chloé suggested. Thinking that she would like this I just went to drop off the dress at her place but all my plans came crashing down when I saw her standing there with a deer caught in headlights look.
Hair disrayed, skin glowing, and eyes so big I could get lost in them.
And I decided there and then that I would like to show off my girl to everybody today. No matter that some of them were invited to the engagement this Friday as well.
If we were on the topic of her charms, I'd like to add another.
The way she shies away, I don't know why but it just turns me on like no other. The way she carried that dress, was sexy. But at the same time she was looking so innocent that one has to look her way again not because the dress was quite revealing but because of her.
I literally had second thoughts about the dress but seeing as we were quite late already I stomped on my caveman instincts. I just got to keep her close to me at all times.
And I was proved right the moment we stepped in the party, every eye was on here, it was another thing she was so busy looking down that she didn't pay any heed to them.
See, this right here is another one of her charms I like, no I adore. The way she acts so aloof towards everybody else who isn't her family or friends.
But what I don't like is the distance between us, which has started to annoy me recently. I would've punched Mr.Cutting for suggesting she goes on her own if it wasn't for the fact that he is one of the important shareholders in our company and I need him.
But looking back now I think she handled herself quite remarkably, vomiting on that leecher. Another of her charm I adore.
But the girl I've known and the woman I'm seeing these days aren't quite the same. Has she really grown?
My eyes took this as a signal and were suddenly at her exposed cleavage. Yes, she has grown quite a lot.
Averting my eyes quickly, I adjusted my pants, too many inappropriate thoughts.
There is no way I'm dropping to such low levels as to eye a woman when she's unconscious. Doesn't matter that she's my fiance.
"We've arrived sir," Jake informed me. Cutting off all the strange feelings I've suddenly started to feel towards the one girl I wasn't interested in marrying in the first place.
"Thank you, Jake, you might go to your quarters I'll manage from here," nodding at me Jake went his way, leaving me to think of the best possible way to wake Kara up without disturbing her.
She was still snoring, so I decided I'll just have to carry her inside.
Opening my door I rounded the car and slowly opened her side of the door, pushing the coat more tightly around her I made sure she won't catch a cold.
It was stupid of me to not offer her the coat the minute she came outside all dressed. But at least I had bought the coat with me, I should definitely thank Chloe for the thought.
The woman knows what she's doing.
Pushing aside her hair, I put my arm under her head and legs and quickly stood up. If her constant snoring is any sign I think I did a good job. Closing the door with my feet I made my way to the elevators in the parking.
"Long day sir?" the concierge asked while moving to call the elevators.
"Yes quite long," smiling softly I thanked him and went inside.
Resting against the wall I pulled her a little up and crossed my ankles and looked down at her.
At her peaceful expressions but it wasn't for long because the next second she shifted and puked all over me.
Oh god, the stench was making me puke. She groaned a little and was ready for round two when the elevators dinged at my floor.
"Hold it right in baby, we've reached home," But she wasn't one to listen and emptied her stomach once more while I fought with the keys.
Setting her down I quickly directed her to my bedroom.
"Here get in," I guided her towards the shower stall and turned on the hot water, judging by her still half-closed eyes I think she hasn't fully awakened.
"Do you need help with the dress?" please say no, covered in vomit or not she is still a woman, and I'm a starved man.
"Umm no I'll manage," she said in a timid voice, and stomping on my urge to stay I went outside.
Taking out the striped pajama set mom bought for me from her vacation, forgetting the fact I'm not a 12 year old anymore. I placed that on the counter along with the towel inside the washroom and exited as quickly as I can.
Outside in the living room, I called downstairs at the lobby and asked them to clean the elevators and outside my door.
Then I went to take a shower in the guest room, priorities.
I've been pacing the floor outside my bedroom waiting for her but since I can still hear the water running I think she isn't done yet. Is she okay? She didn't accidentally slip in the shower, did she?
I don't think I've ever worried about someone taking a shower before, maybe with Em but that's totally different.
It was then that I remembered that she hasn't eaten anything, the food she ordered was in the car and probably cold now, and won't be a healthy choice to eat after puking.
Making up my mind I went in search of something healthy she could eat after her shower.
Oatmeal is a healthy choice, right? I mean it has to be considering I don't know how to cook and she needs something quick.
Oatmeal it is then!
I was setting up the oatmeal, water, and an aspirin in the tray when I heard her soft footfalls.
Turning around I smiled at her or I really tried but I wasn't ready for the sight.
Her in my clothes, a little cliched but was a sight to behold. With hair still wet, sleeves rolled up and the trousers too big for her she looked the most beautiful she has ever looked.
See, I'm getting the hang of that word. Beautiful.
"What am I doing here?" confusion was evident in her question but what did she expect I leave her all on her own? In her current state.
"Do you need a toothbrush?" is what I asked her instead, way to go man!
"I did find a spare in your cupboard and your mouthwash, I hope it's okay?" It's more than okay I'd say.
"How are you feeling? Any better? Why don't you settle in and eat something before bed?" I don't know who was more nervous her or me? it wasn't like I'm alone with a woman for the first time.
I've had my fair share but something about this situation, all domestic is making all the alarms in my head blare.
She moved towards the kitchen Island and pulled out a barstool and settled right in, with one hand under the chin and the other busy making patterns on the counter, she showed another one of her charms, a silent seductress.
"This is for me?" pointing towards the tray I've been holding out.
"Yes, eat this and take the aspirin afterward you'll feel better,"
"Thank you," she purred.
"And here have this banana too, it's a good hangover cure,"
"What hangover?" nose scrunched up she looked at me like I'd committed a crime.
"Are you drunk?" she asked me and all I could say is yes I'm drunk.
Drunk on you!!!
