" Don't put her in harm's way again, InuYasha." Sesshomaru said.
" Would ya leave already? Sango and Kagome have everything under control." InuYasha complained and could not stand the sight of his brother.
" If she dies- I will surely come and kill you" Sesshomaru reassured.
" Whatever...just leave already," InuYasha said.
"Heed, my warning, little brother" Sesshomaru walked away into the woods.
Yuki's pretty blue eyes had lost their color and her skin was becoming paler by the second. Kagome removed the shard from Yuki's arm and purified it. Her arm was black and was damaged by the shard. It's like pure poison to humans and could kill them. She needed some serious medical attention as it took them several days to return to Kadea village. Yuki's heartbeat began to slow down as her pulse was getting weaker. They rushed and found the old priestess that was attending to another patient.
" Yuki." those were the words that came out of Kagome's mouth as she cried. She was wailing and was so scared. They laid her down and Kadea used some special herbs on her wound. She mixed power in the water and made Yuki drink it by moving her mouth. The elder checks the young lady's pulse. It was still weak but it was better.
InuYasha was pacing back and forth outside the hut.
" Ye must rest." the old priestess said before leaving out the hut.
Kagome did not leave Yuki's side and held her hand as tight as possible. She often replaced a new warm cloth on Yuki's forehead. She replaced the bandages every few hours and put ointment on Yuki's wounds. I can't Yuki slip into the enemy arms, I am the absolute worst Kagomw put a sheet over Yuki as she began to cry once again.
The others were worried about Yuki's condition but nothing could be done. They had to wait on her recovery. It had been about a few weeks before they have seen any real results.
Yuki opened her blue eyes and saw Kagome sleeping on the floor. She removed the wet cloth from her forehead and some things seem like a blur.
" You haven't fully recovered--lie back down." Kagome woke up and could feel that Yuki was trying to get out of the mattress. She helped her friend lay back down and put the cloth back on her head. Yuki did not talk the miasma burned her throat on the inside and it would be a while for a full recovery.
" InuYasha, should we be worried about Sesshomaru?" Miroku asked.
" I'm not sure," InuYasha answered, but his thoughts were filled with Yuki and her well-being.
" She just went back to sleep." Kagome moved the curtains and was with the others outside. She gave them an update on Yuki's health and condition.
" Kagome, if your friend stays here any longer her future will be jeopardized." Kikyo appeared at the village to inform them after witnessing the battle at Naraku castle.
" What do you mean, Kikyo?" Kagome asked and could not stand the sight of her and especially next to InuYasha.
" Naraku must think she's the reincarnation from a powerful priestess and intend to use and abuse that power." Kikyo said and explained to them." You see, Kagome's friend is the reincarnation of Kiyomi who's the Princess of the Southern Lands and no other than Kadea and I older sister" Kikyo said and remember the death of her sister as if it was yesterday.
InuYasha ears perked up.
" How will her future be jeopardized? I don't get it"Shippo was just as confused as the others.
" By all means don't let her meet Sesshomaru-- please return her to an era where she belongs " Kikyo walked away.
Yuki was outside and saw the others gathered together. She did not hear their conversation and wanted to know what was all of the commotions about.
" Hey, Yuki. We're going try again and return you back home." Kagome said.
Yuki looked at InuYasha that stood next to Kagome. It's the best choice if I'm out of the picture She thought to herself as she agreed with Kagome. The pain in her heartfelt was as real as the injuries inflicted on her. She wanted to go home and put this chapter behind her as if it never existed. I will be a good child and be a normal teenager. I go to school and fall in love normally She promised herself. InuYasha dropped her off at the well and gave her one last hug. It was not like him and it took Kagome surprised. She really cared about InuYasha but she just could not do that to her friend.
Please take me home this time
Yuki jumped down the well and a purple light flashed.
" I'm going miss, Yuki," Shippo complained.
" Me too." Sango was saddened but this was for the best.
Kirara meowed.
'Have I missed the chance to ask her to bear my children?' Miroku thought.
They began their search yet again. InuYasha was quiet and was upset. He did not want to admit it but he shared deep feelings for Kagome's friend, Yuki.
Yuki opened the shed and notified the Higurashi's. Kagome's Mom and Grandfather were there and they could not believe it. They gave Yuki's parents a call to one unbelievable story.
The doorbell rang.
" We're so sorry, Yuki." Her parents rushed inside and gave their daughter the biggest hug.
