They entered a village and stay there for the night. Everyone needed to recuperate after that battle and was fast asleep.
Yuki could not sleep and decided to take a walk outside. She looked up at the moon and an image of the child smiling. She started to hate herself as she remember that other day.
" Miss Yuki, I want to stay with you forever!" she remembers the little girl smile
" Miss Yuki, Take me with you. M...Mom...Mom.. please don't go" and her tears too.
Those words tore her apart and her heart ached. She took a deep breath as her thoughts were consuming her. She stop swinging her feet as she felt a shadow hovering over her and to her surprise it was the dog demon.
" Lord Sesshomaru, why are you here?" she asks and turned her head away with regret.
" Rin worried about your well-being," he told her and walked into the woods as she followed behind him. There Rin was sleeping by herself in the sleeping back that Yuki left behind.
" Lady Yuki, please come back." the child cried in her sleep.
" I have to go," she spoke and rushed out the woods. It just broke her heart to stay there and the fact that she caused it made her feel even worse. She found her way back to the village but saw one of her friends awake.
" Yuki, where have you been?"Kagome questioned.
" I was just taking a walk," she responded.
" She was with Sesshomaru, his scent is all over this place," InuYasha complained.
" Is that true?" Kagome inquired.
" Yes," she answered.
" Do you have some sort of feelings for Sesshomaru?" Kagome asks.
" No, I just wanted to see Rin," she told them.
" Yuki please listen to me carefully, you can never see Sesshomaru," Kagome said.
" Why?" Yuki said and looked at her friend directly in the eye.
" Let's go inside, it's cold outside." Sango interrupted
Kagome and the others walked back inside into the temple to return to sleep.
" Make sure you get some sleep," InuYasha said and threw his Robe of The Fire Rat at Yuki's face as he went into the temple.
What's the big deal of seeing Sesshomaru? Yuki removed the clothing from her face and held it in the palm of her hands.
