" I can't wait to tell Kagome about my crush--I know she will support me. Perhaps, one day, we can probably go on dates and we have kids, they can be friends." Yuki was overreacting but was also overjoyed that her feelings were accepted. She did not expect him to accept them and was overjoyed. She was so excited and could not contain her happiness.
She wanted to get a gift for InuYasha and something she had to work for. She used her bare hands and try to catch some fish at the river bank. She manage to catch enough for everyone and placed them in the bag. Where did they go? Maybe they went to fight off some demons Yuki thought to herself.
" Hi, my name is Rin. What's your name?" a small human child said and sat on the other side of the with missing teeth. She had on a worn-down kimono with dirty brown hair but she was still cute.
" Yuki." She said in a sweet from as she put her hands on her knees and looked at the lost child.
" You pretty--what are you doing?" Rin question.
" I guess I'm about to head back to my friends now." Yuki said and the bag on her back was kind of heavy." Are you a lost, little girl?" She asks.
" Rin, come back here." Someone shouted from the woods." Lord Sesshomaru returns."
" I have to go, My Lord has returned." The little girl said and took off into the woods with a hand full of blueberries.
'Such a strange girl." Yuki thought and wanted to chase after the girl. She heard her companion's voices and followed the sound. She walked down the path and spotted the others. She waved her hand and tried to catch their attention but she went unnoticed.
A strong wind current and dust race towards the group. It was a certain wolf demon with high speeds who finally came to a stop. He was standing on InuYasha's head that was planted on the ground. He had pretty dark hair and it was placed in a ponytail. He had blue eyes and his tail was moving behind him.
" Koga, it's nice to see you," Kagome said and put on a fake smile.
" I hope this mutt isn't causing you too much trouble while I'm away." Koga cupped both of Kagome's hands.
" Koga, why you!" InuYasha growled.
" Oh, InuYasha- What you doing below my feet?" Koga questioned and before InuYasha could strike him. He backed away a few steps on his feet.
" But Koga, why are you here?" Sango said.
" I haven't had a trace of Naraku yet and I was hoping that you guys had any clues." He responded.
" We haven't had any luck." the fox demon answered.
Koga could sense his two companions catching up and had to make his visit short." I'll be back for you, Kagome." He said before taking off again.
" Back away! You mangy wolf, she's mine!" InuYasha declared and put his arm on Kagome's shoulder.
That was when it finally hit her that she did not even have a chance. It was just wishful thinking. Then she remember that Shippo said that Kagome is Kikyo reincarnation. I never even had a chance huh? I can't compete with that- I mean, why would I? What right do I have? Kagome smile and InuYasha happiness. How come I didn't see it before... Yuki asked herself and stared that them.
InuYasha caught her scent and turned his head as they made direct eye contact.
Yuki could not stand to see them together and it broke her heart. She tried her best to not react and to prevent tears but her eyes started to water. I don't want to be here! I wish I could disappear from this world! The shard pure light began to engulf into darkness.
' How much did she see?- What should I say to her?' He froze and did not know what to do or who to go to. He did not know how to act or respond to the situation. He turned his head and acted like he didn't see her as if she was invisible.
From a distance, Koga saw Kagome's friend but then took off.
" Oh- You finally awake, Yuki." Kagome smiled and ran up to hug her friend.
Yuki heard a voice in her head that said 'kill her' but she did not give in. Her willpower was strong even though the shard was like poison in her body.' Kagome is my savor and I won't do anything to hurt her.' She fought the dark thoughts and did not want to hurt her friends.
Out of nowhere, Naraku's scent appear and the others were ready to take him down.
" Dance of Blades." a voice shouted and high winds attacked the group but they dodge it. Koga came to the rescue and got Kagome before she was attacked.
Everyone looked back and Yuki was engulfed by the wind and appeared on Kagura feather as they flew away in the sky. The wind cleared up as Kagura vanished in an instant.
" What could Kagura possibly want--Reappearing and disappearing like that?" Miroku wondered.
" Beats me." Koga shrugged.
" Guys, where did Yuki-chan go?" Sango asked.
" Yuki-chan, Yuki-chan." Kagome looked around and began to panic as she notice that her friend was nowhere to be found. She felt like she was responsible for her disappearance." What should I do? What if something happened to her? How should I explain this to her parents." She should have never befriended Yuki if this would have happened.
" Don't worry. Any friend of Kagome is a friend of mine and I will save her." Koga reassured.
" This has to be Naraku doing" InuYasha observed.
" Beat you there, mutt," Koga said after catching Naraku's scent and taking off.
InuYasha growled.
" Let's go, InuYasha," Kagome said and climbed on his back and they took off. Everyone followed the demonic energy and was determined to save Yuki.
"What could Naraku possibly want with Yuki-chan?" Sango questioned.
" We'll find out once we get there," Miroku reassured.
In Naraku castle, Yuki was locked up in the basement. His barrier was strong and nobody could enter besides his attachments.
Yuki was wrapped in chains and her body was in pain as if a thorn poked her endlessly. Her uniform was torn and blood dripped on the floor. Each time she tries to move, the chain will tighten and pierce into her flesh. Blood slid down her arm and dripped from the rusty chains as it made a puddle of blood. She lost consciousness.
Kanna tried to suck out her soul but it will not fill the mirror. It was endless...
