After meeting Ben's dad, everyone decided to visit Harris's mother for some advice for how to deal with these monsters. His mother was named Melissa, and she was a splendid healer. But that didn't mean she wasn't able to fight with her dark branches and quite literal otherworldly powers. She lived with Harris's little brother, Sammy. He was almost as tall as his mother, and had a small AI companion that connected to a large supercomputer that biologically connected to his brain and spine. It helps him focus, look at different possibilities in quantum space, and other technological and animal aura powers he has. Harris came inside and was greeted by his mom making tea. She smiled and greeted her son as she remembers his last visit to show he had graduated his training program. She also greeted his friends and offered them a snack. "Always nice to see Harris's friends, he was always acting like he could only see his friends outside, and that's only after he graduated." she teasingly said, forcing Harris to make a bit of a sour embarrassed face. He didn't like talking about his younger days that much, especially in front of other people. Sammy was doing a puzzle and was pretty focused on finishing. Tasha watched as he was putting it together and greeted him. Sammy just said hello and shook her hand. Tasha giggled that his simplicity was so charming and sat down. "So Harris, what's the business with your brother? Seemed unnaturally focused on this sort of thing." she asked. Harris explained that he has mild autism, so he has his own way of doing things that somehow works thanks to his AI. Then Harris's mother started to ask about the strange man that blew himself up in the police station, and wanted to know if he had some sort of agenda. "Sorry mom, but we never got to figuring that out. He literally blew himself up before we could get a thing out of him. It was crazy." he explained. She nodded in understanding and started to think of a plan. But before she could tell anyone, Gabriel got an alert saying that there was an attack on the police station itself.
They all had went to the station, and saw a large buff man throwing lightning bolts at the station while laughing his head off maniacally. Harris went to kick him away but he didn't flinch, and he got massively electrocuted. Tasha and Gabriel went for long range shots but somehow his lighting bounced off of the projectiles and hit them both. Then a dark branch wrapped around the man and had trapped his electricity, forcing him to shock himself. "No one hurts my son, square up because I'll make you bleed!" Melissa yelled as she made a dark branch whip. Ben's dad punched the man from behind and knocked him to the floor. "Hello madam. Might I join you into this beatdown? I owe this weird organization payback for injuring my son." he said, taking a boxing stance. Both of them attacked him furiously, punches and thorns causing serious bruises and slashing his skin. The man managed to grab them both, and threw them high in the air. "Lets see you deal with this you bastards!" he yelled and charged a massive ball of lightning, but it was destroyed. It was Gabriel and Quason's mom wielding bows and arrows, and Tasha's father who was a centaur with a large sledge hammer made of solid rock. No one knows who called them, but they showed up just in time. "Oh...my god, who called our parents here?" Quason asked, and Ursa was hiding with a guilty look on her face. She used telepathy to speak. "I'm sorry, but this was necessary, you're not strong enough yet and you'll need all the support you can get." she thought. Harris shook his head and got back up, and helped them fight by using a short sword. Pretty soon the man was overwhelmed by the relentless attacks, the arrows absorbing his power, the hammer forcing him to block with his already injured arms, and the physical attacks making his broken bones worse. He then got a final punch to the chest, causing him to go unconscious. Harris was panting, tired from facing someone with a strong drive to win. "Damn...these guys are gonna be the death of me if I gotta keep fighting like this." he said, helping to pull the man inside, and to the Psychic Interrogation Room. Gabriel used a spell tag and showed his thoughts. Many of them were about a man sitting in a stone chair, but he didn't show his face or anything. Just his bright red eyes piercing the darkness that loomed around his face and his body. All that was visible was his fingers and legs. He oozed a dense and ominous blood-lust mixed with hatred. His entire presence seemed to be that of a massive monstrosity. He then seemed to notice Gabriel intruding in the man's mind, and caused remote brain death, forcing Gabriel to exit before it reached him. The man limped over dead, and Gabriel was in shock that he killed the person with no remorse or hesitation. "I think we're dealing with someone who..might be a bit crazy. The guy's dead, it was a long distance brain death, I couldn't pin-point the location." he said with a worried look on his face. His mom looked at the man closer, but got no information from him. He had no ID, or was recognizable from anyone she knew. "Damn. He's blank. No ID, no recognizable finger prints either. I don't get it, who are these people, and what exactly are they doing?" she asked herself, but everyone was at a loss and decided to bury the man and head back home. Harris's mom noticed Kamai, and started plotting something by herself. She talked to Kamai and convinced him to take Harris on a date tomorrow to clear his head, and swipe a certain card. Kamai blushed but agreed on it and teleported home.
Tasha and Ben walked home, but then Tasha started to get a cramp in her stomach, which meant only one thing: the baby was kicking. She smiled through the pains, and Ben helped her sit down, and made herself some tea. Ben was worried she was pushing herself too hard, especially with the baby on the way and with all this craziness going on, but he didn't want to say anything about it just yet. Tasha looked at him a bit worried. "Sorry hun, I don't mean to push it. I'll take it easy, but don't expect me to turn a blind eye to whats going on. I'm a fighter, not a side girl." she said confidently as she hugged Ben and pulled her to his bedroom.
