LeeAnne had no idea how long she had been unconscious before she opened her eyes once again. Looking around, she was startled to find herself in what seemed to be the bottom of a cliff. She wondered if Julia and Peter had thrown her there after stabbing her, however, she didn't recognise the plants around her. They were bright and unusual.
Turning her head to one side, LeeAnne realized that she was lying next to a blood covered leg. It was twisted into an odd position and appeared stiff. Turning her head to the other side, she saw that a matching leg was on that side. The pair of legs were massive to her perspective, as if she was lying between the legs of a giant.
Suddenly her vision went dark. A large shadow stood over her and blocked the light. Staring up, LeeAnne was scared to see a gigantic wolf standing above her.
The wolf sniffed her a few times before sniffing the body around her. The cold touch of the wolf's nose startled her and despite knowing she had no voice box a cry escaped her mouth.
The sound startled her further. The sound was weak and child-like. LeeAnne was confused and tried again.
"Ah?"
The wolf was forgotten as she explored her new voice. A cold breeze flowed over her and she shivered. Feeling odd, LeeAnne lifted an arm to stare at it. It was small and thin like a baby.
'Was I reborn?'
Lifting her other arm to stare at, it looked the same at the first. She then lifted her feet. They were also small like a baby. Turning her head to stare at the legs that lay around her, LeeAnne finally understood that they must belong to her new mother. However, they were stiff and cold, so her mother obviously hadn't survived the birth.
Remembering the wolf, LeeAnne turned her head to look for it. The wolf wasn't in view.
"Ah?"
LeeAnne could only speak out in a baby voice.
As if the wolf understood she was looking for it, it came back into sight. In it's mouth was a pink pouch that the wolf had removed from her dead mother and filled with the important things that the woman had on her. Dropping it beside LeeAnne, the wolf pulled some ripped cloth over to her and rolled LeeAnne onto it. The pouch was then picked up and dropped onto her. The wolf carefully picked up the edges of the cloth in it's mouth and lifted LeeAnne up inside it before leaving the cliff.
