Mia's eyes widened as she gasped. Then she started tearing up, "H-How? W-what happened?"
Ashley told her about the events that happened the day before.
"Then they chased after us. Ms Olga couldn't walk because of her feet, so she decided to stay and distract them for me to run away."
Ashley wept with Mia as she continued, "It was my fault. I shouldn't have left her behind."
Mia shook her head as she stood up and hugged Ashley. "No. It's not your fault. The ones at fault are those men and that evil family."
Then she released her from the hug, wiped her tears and faced Ashley. "Listen to me, Ashley. You're the victim here. So never blame yourself because it's not your fault. Understand?"
Ashley nodded as she sighed.
