She pounded on the door numerous times and called out to Mia. "Mia? Anybody? I can't go out!"
She continued to pound the door as she yelled.
At the same time, Mia was at the reception desk talking to Gilbert about their stay as Evan stood beside him.
"Alright, that would be another six coins for another day." Mia smiled as she told Gilbert. Evan kept on looking upstairs as Gilbert and Mia talked. Then they heard a loud bang following a crash on the upper floor that caught their attention.
"Is there someone staying here besides us?" Gilbert asked.
Mia turned to them with a smile, "Oh! There's nobody here besides you two. I think it was just a cat that entered my room again. I must have forgotten to close my windows again. I'm sorry about that."
Gilbert nodded as he handed her six gold coins, but Evan stopped him.
"One week. We'll stay here for one week," Evan whispered.
Gilbert's eyes widened, "O-one week? B-but why?"
