Chapter 4 - Swarm of bees

Back at the kingdom of Minos. The king made his way ,angrily, to the courtyard. His gaze fell on the maids that were looking at the pit both shocked and scared. "Listen!!" His booking voice caught all the maids' attention. They all looked at him, fear surged through them as they saw how angry king Bargwandas looked at that moment. "How could you let my son get near the fire pit?!" His question made everyone shiver. How should they tell him that they were the reason why his son jumped into the dangerous Fire pit. "Answer your king!" He shouted again and no one answered. Frustrated, he curled his fistst into a ball and emmedietly punched the guard standing next to him so hard that he could feel his spirit leave him. When the maids saw the unconcious man on the ground they emmedietly shoved one of the maids to the front to speak. It was the maid that came up with the idea to trick the prince into jumping in the pit so they thought it was her job to tell the king what happened. King Bargwandas's gave went to the maid in front and his gave sharpened soon seeing her. "Y...y...your highness I....I..." She stammered, not able to look him in the eyes. They all knew how ruthless and savage their king was. They were all starved, slashed and hit many times just as payment for one apple and who knows what he will do to them now. The sky turned dark and the king became even more impatient. "You are all worthless fools! I'll go and get him myself and when I return..." He pointed at 5 of the guards behind him. "I want to find blood all over your skinny bodies and all over your ugly faces." He said before jumping into the pit. The maids closed their eyes and looked up as if they were saying their last prayers before death. Inside the pit, the king opened his large brown eagle-like wings and flew all the way to the bottom of the pit. He scanned the area, hoping he would find any trace of Raven even a small feather. He then noticed that his fire pit had no fire at all! It was just a damn useless hole! These guards are all invisals just invisals! He cursed within him as he walked towards the darkness. His golden armor was made of pure gold so anevery step he took made a clingy sound. Of course he hated the sound but he forced himself to wear it to show everyone how mighty he was. As he continued walking, his horns grew. This usually happened when he sensed any sort of dancger so he paused and looked around. He folded his wings and activated his hearing. He heard footsteps, many footsteps that were coming towards him. He suddenly felt something slash the back of his neck. Blood started oozing from his neck but he didn't even flinch. Then thousands of flying angles came after him like a swarm of bees. They were all wearing armour and holding swords like they were in a war. What were these creatures doing in his pit?! He couldn't take this anymore. First his son goes missing and now this? He got ready to attack then he heard, "stop!" A soft voice shouted. All of the Angels stopped attacking and landed around the king. They opened a path and someone came. It was Raven! Wait, he was walking with someone large. It seemed to be an Aquestrian guard shackling him from behind. He could see from his badge that he was loyal to king Eldridge and Queen Heather of Aquestria. "S...son?"
