Chapter 10 - Ready

"C... Crystal?" She asked weekly. Her whole body went numb and the only part she could move was her mouth and eyes. Her mother quickly hugged her. Libra could feel her heart racing in her chest. What actually happened and how did she get back to her room? She blinker a few times and started coughing. Her mother pulled back and took a glass of water from the bed's side table. She drove the glass to her mouth and made her drink the water. "Guards! Call the doctor!" The queen ordered and the guards marched out of the room. Libra saw how worried her mother looked. There were rear marks around her eyes which means she was crying. Wiping some tears from her face with the back of her hand, the queen looked at her daughter with a bitter smile. She raised her hand and touched the side of her cheeck. "My princess..." , She said before landing a soft kiss in her forehead. "Mother...what happened? How did i get back here?" She asked, making the queen lift one of her brows. "What do you mean dear? You were here all day. The guards came to my room and told me you were missing. I came here to check and i found you in the floor with your eyes wide open. I got scared and told the doctor to come and check in you. When the guards placed you in your bed your eyes closed and you stopped breathing. I got terrified of course. The doctor said you could wake up from your comma in a couple of weeks but I'm so happy it just took a few hours." She said as her smile turned onto a frown. "Tell me Libra, what happened and why did you call the name Crystal when you woke up?" She asked in a serious tone. Libra wanted to move and hug her and tell her everything but she couldn't even move her fingers. Before she could say anything, the Doors opened and the doctor came into the room. The queen stood up and took a free steps back to let the doctor check in Libra. The doctor sat next to the princess om her bed and took out her thermometer to check her temperature. While the thermometer was in her mouth, the doctor took out a special bottle filled with glowing green liquid. "This medicine is extremely rare. I found it in the kingdom of Minos when I was captured by King Bargwandas." As the doctor said those words, the queen's face darkened. "You are going to give my daughter some liquid you found lying around in the so called 'kingdom of Hell'?" She asked her and the doctor climbed off the bed and stood before the queen. "Your highness...a special friend gave me this bottle in Minos. She is very trustworthy and she-" "That is no excuse doctor." The queen cut her off. "Don't forget you are dealing with the princess of Aquestria here. Tomorrow is her 10th birthday and I want her to be well before then. But you may not use this evil substance." She said as she snatched the bottle from the doctor's hand. The queen then left the room with guard following her, leaving the doctor and the princess alone in the room. When the door closed, the doctor then smiled as she turned around to look at the princess. Then suddenly, the doctor turned into a younger looking woman with blonde hair, emerald green eyes and freckles. Libra almost swallowed the thermometer that was in her mouth as she choked. Crystal moved towards her and took the thermometer out. When it was out, Libra's eyes widened as she opened her mouth to talk. "Crystal..?" She weakly said and Crystal sat next to her. "Libra, I'm so happy that you are ok." She said as she smiled. "What are you doing here and...what happened?" She looked at her with questions in her eyes. Crystal smiled and stood up. "I'll tell you what happened. You evolved Libra. You are finally ready."
