At the Aquestrian castle.
"Eldridge, when did you decide on this?" Queen Heather asked. She was shocked, no, everyone was shocked. Their daughter was just 9 years old she...she isn't close to being old enough to marry. "I said that she will marry. I never said when she will marry Heather." He replied. He then looked at everyone in the royal court. "On this day I announce that Princess Libra will marry Prince Quinton of Alpine Aquestria!" He announced and everyone was shocked yet again. Alpine Aquestria is also part of their kingdom but the king of that kingdom was the greediest of them all. Since he falls under Eldridge, he also has a high status but his greedyness makes everyone hate him almost as much as they hate the bloody king Bargwandas. Then the doors opened. 2 guards came through the door. Everyone's eyes widened as soon as they saw their wings. They wings were blue! Normal angel wings were white and demon wings were brown so how do these creatures get blue wings?! Then another shock hit them hard when they saw the angel that came behind them. "Introducing Prince Quinton of Alpine Aquestria!" The guards announced. All eyes fell on the prince that walked in. He was so tall. He looked like he was between 13 and 14 at the age of 10! He had long black hair that was styled to sway as he walks. He was wearing a white suit and his eyes were red. Red eyes were the symbol of Minos because it represents demons. Some of the maids felt like fainting but Libra just stared at him. He did look good but it was not his good looks she was staring at, it was his dark blue wings. They were no ordinary wings. They were made of dragon scales and had feathers at the end. The prince paid no attention to the eyes that were staring at him as he walked towards the king and queen. He bowed his head before them as a sign of respect as he spoke. "Your highness my name Prince Quinton. I have been called for the marriage proposal you have given my father many years ago and I am here to tell you that I accept the offer to marry you beautiful princess." He said. Libra, who was in her own thoughts was shocked back to reality. Wait, she was getting married to him? He looks nothing like an angel. What was he? King Eldridge looked at his shocked daughter and stood up. "Quinton, you will marry my daughter at the age of 20. Is that clear?" He said. "Yes my king. I will gladly marry your daughter when I turn 20." He said and raised his head to look at the king. "You will not marry her when you turn 20 Quinton. You will marry when she turn 20." Quinton's lips twitched. He didn't like what the king said. He had been called here to be told that he would marry her at 20 but now he would have to marry her at 21? Seeing his reaction made the king frown. "You do accept right?" He asked as his gaze turned serious. "Of course your highness. I accept" He replied before turning around and walking out of the room. The two blue-einged guards bowed before following the prince out. The people in the court were frozen from the moment the prince entered. The shocks that came today we're this mighty ones. If they were humans then they would have fainted long ago from the shock. The king sat down on his throne and spoke. "I see that my subjects have been turned into statues all of a sudden." He said, wearing a smile on his face. "I'll have to call a witch to cast a spell on them to make them normal again."
Everyone looked at him. His joke did not lighten the mood. Even his wife and daughter were looking at him in surprise. Feeling embarrassed, the king coughed and became serious again. "Now back to the descusion, I have sent my guards to go and find the lost prince of Minos and bring him back to his father safely." He said. No one spoke anymore. The queen didn't know how everyone would manage if another shocking announcement was made so she decided to end things for now. "Um..dear I think we should continue the conversation tomorrow. It's getting late now and we don't want any of our subjects collapsing from all these...well... thoughts." She said, trying to put things lightly so no one would think of it the wrong way. The king just smiled at his wife and looked at the subjects, "Ok. As the queen has said!" He ordered and everyone emmedietly stood up and walked out of the room leaving the royal family alone. Libra then ran to her parents. "Father...why should I get married to that weird boy?" She asked with curiousity in her eyes. The king looked at Libra and bent down to meet her eyes. "You'll understand when you are older Princess." He said as he planted a soft kiss on her forehead. He then stood straight and walked to the door. He stood there for a while before opening his wings and flying out.
