Nightmare was in her realm. She stood in front of a big, black cauldron. She threw up all of the continents in the abyss that was her stomach. It filled the pot. The souls glowed in the darkness that is the blood. She picked a soul and ran her claw over it. Listening to the screams of the once living person.
Nightmare took the blood covered soul and reformed it back into the person it was. But the person was no longer human, for she had made him into his worst fear. The thug leader had been a horrible arachnophobic. So she turned him to a giant spider. Releasing him into the darkness that is her realm.
But what he saw was entirely different. He didn't see the darkness of the realm. Nightmare made it were all he saw were spiders chasing him for the rest of eternity. They weren't small either. They were just as large as he was when he was human. She had gone through all six of her new souls. She put them all through their own personal torment and set them loose in her dark black world.
It wasn't her first time doing this. She had been doing this since Cresen and the three dogs from Noah's pack. She had found how to play with the souls of these unfortunate people, and she really enjoyed it.
Tulip had told Noah of how Nightmare was created. He felt pity for his wife. Noah thought it was horrible to have such an evil being as she living in her and just take over whenever and wherever it wants.
"So how are you going to fix this?" He asked.
"I'll have to bring her out into the real world."
"But wouldn't she still be you?"
"I meant I'll have to pull her out of me. It's the only way to stop her rain of terror before she can cause it."
"I wanna help. We can all help."
"NO!" Tulip said looking up to Noah, "This is too dangerous! You can't even look at her. It's like the Greek Medusa. One look and you're hers. I won't let you do this!"
"You don't have a choice! I love you, and I won't let you do this alone. I can do this. Let me help you. Please!"
"If I can't talk you out of this, then fine. But if anything happens I'm pulling you out of there!"
"Deal."
Night is the best time to pull her out, Tulip had told Noah. He had gotten his pack ready. He had them training for the rest of the day. Tulip had informed them all that there was a possibility that they would die, but they would be saving the world and wouldn't die in vain. The pack wasn't happy with the chances of dying, but the thought of saving the world from an evil like this had them. They were going to help. No matter what.
Night came. Tulip felt consciousness slipping from her. This was her chance. She focused in her fading phase. Nightmare was in her sights. As a spirit of her conscious, she grabbed hold of the evil presence from within.
Let go!
"Not this time. Nightmare out with you!" Tulip returned to her body and pulled the evil into the darkness. Tulip had started to glow as the separation happened. As it did a black dome formed, over the field where they had fled to keep the humans safe, slowly. Nightmare was freed of Tulips accursed body.
"What did you do?" she shouted at Tulip.
"I pulled you and your realm out. Isn't that you wanted?" Tulip said with her arms stretched out wide, "We're going to finish this. Once and for all. Your rain will never start! Never!"
"Yes, but I wanted to get out of this dark world. I want to see the world I want to destroy. I'm finishing this! I want to finally be in total control!" Nightmare's eyes turned completely black. Only to show the very dim shine of the realm's light. She raised her souls from within her realm and weaved the darkness to build her temple at its center. She smiled her biggest, grimmest, most crooked smile. "This is my world. Bring it on."
It was Tulip's turn. She turned her eyes pure, leaf green. Her hands lit with energy fire. It was as pure green as her hands. She grew hundreds of vines from the dead, dry ground to assist her. One had a giant leaf, which she stepped on to lift her off the ground, to reach Nightmare's height. With her smaller leaves, she pulled from the vines, she threw them in the air, and she manipulated where they went. Shooting them at Nightmare.
Nightmare had gathered a lot of strength. It came with each soul collected. She created a dark dragon, using her energy and darkness. It was massive, black, and ready to strike one who threatened it and it's master. She waved her arm at the incoming leaves, and the black dragon breathed dark purple fire at the leaves. Tulip moved the leaves out of the way and making them strike the dragon instead Nightmare.
Tulip turned Air and shot up into the dry, dusty air. She pulled the air, turning it into a tornado. She sent to the evil demon. Noah was blindfolded. Tulip had said he had to keep from seeing her, so his plan was to fight without sight. He had Tulip connected to his thoughts to keep him from hitting the wrong target. With short swords in both hands and a whole blinded pack behind him, he charged the dragon.
Noah had grown his own vines, using the amulet Tulip had made him. He jumped from one vine to the next. He jumped over to the dragon and spun, slashing the dragon with both of his swords. Black blood gushed from the deep wounds. The dragon roared in response. The pack raced up the vines, they saw the vines as white objects around a black world.
Nightmare was getting mad. They had thought this out. She had to get rid of Tulip to stop them. It was the way.
Tulip was getting faster. She turned Electric and gathered all her static and released it causing a bright, giant thunderbolt upon the dragon. The dragon was down. But only for a little bit. She had stunned it.
Tulip turned Ice, landing on one of her vines. She did a similar move. Gathering the ice inside her, she shot a humongous ice storm out at Nightmare.
The demon released her darkness as a pulse. Distorting the ice and turning it into black sleet. Nightmare shot the sleet back at its master. It hit her directly. Tulip fell from her place on her vine. Cold and covered with frost, she hit the ground with a hard thud and shook the dead earth beneath. Noah felt the hit from within the amulet. He took off his blindfold and rushed to her aid.
"Tulip? Tulip! Are you okay? Please be okay!" Tulip made no response. She laid still in his arms.
