Tulip and Noah stood in front of a giant hibiscus flower that hasn't bloomed yet. Tulip had grown it.
"So what's with the flower?"
"It's the next step to our life."
"What does that mean?"
"Let me see our hand." Noah gave his hand to Tulip. She sliced two of his nails off to the tip of his finger.
"Hey! If you wanted me to clip my nails, then you could have said so!"
"That isn't what these are for." Tulip giggled. She pulled two seed from within her palm. "There to put inside the flower."
"Why?"
"So the next generation can begin." Tulip placed the four little items in the flower.
Several years have passed. The flower had not moved. Tulip made sure it was in a safe place. Next to a beautiful waterfall. Rainbows shown over the falls.
