"hey love, would you mind coming down stairs?" I could hear my mom say.
"yeah sure" I said. I ran downstairs and realized she had to leave. I quickly hugged her tight and told her I loved her. I had a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach telling not to let her leave, but I just brushed it off.
May 4, 2025 (day one of war)
I looked over at my phone and noticed my mom was calling me so I picked up.
" Hey mom! how are you?"
"I'm good, I just got off my flight!"
"Oo~ fun! there was no screaming babies this time huh." we laughed remembering our last trip where there was a screaming baby the entire flight until we landed.
"No thankfully! alright hun, I have to go. I'll talk to you later"
"alright, by mom. see ya soon!"
little did I know, that would be the last time that I talked to my mom...
