As I awoke, I started to notice the ash and debree around me. I had to fight for air as if it were a battle. finally, it all settled and I started to notice all the broken pieces of my home. after I got a hold of myself, I got up and started to look around. I didn't understand how I survived, and then I thought about my family. Jayden, Sophie, mom, and dad. what if they were still alive? I made a promise to myself that as long as I was alive, that I would look for them. along with them I had a older brother Daniel, and a friend named Christina. I had to find them as well. I started to pack the few things I could find. a sleeping bag, a pair of clothes, and a pocket knife. then I decided to head out towards the forest. me and Jayden have a special spot their where we used to hang out, I was hoping that if he was still alive that he would go there. of course when I got their I made a makeshift shelter and found some blueberries.
