"Combat Casting: After going through training the user is more adept at casting spells in combat. The user is unlikely to stop casting while under attack.
Empowered spell: It allows the user to strengthen the damage of a spell depending on the level of your chirsmar score.
Alex was torn between the two abilities. He could see the benefit in both of them. Combat Casting would allow him to cast spells while in combat but empowered spell allowed him to strengthen his spells. While the offers versatility the other offers power. After some thought Alex decided to go with empowered spell.
He realised that after some training he could learn combat casting but empowered spell was a different story. After deciding that Alex levelled up again.
"The profession Sorcerer is now level 4."
"HP increased by 9."
"Cantrip increased by one."
"Level 2 spell slot increased by 1."
"Received 1 Attribute Point."
When Alex got the extra cantrip he was suprised. He did know too much about the sorcerer profession. He only really knew about the basics. He knew that the only way to become a sorcerer was to either have an ancient bloodline or have a fortuitous encounter.
Most of his knowledge stemmed from the wizard class as well as magical items. He could feel the ship came to a stop he decided to finish this later. The ship docked and Alex was one of the first to leave the ship, when he did, one of the first things he saw was Jon.
He was a young man with long brown hair and dressed like a sailor. He worked at the docks but was in fact a professional fighter. Alex met him by chance while he was doing a job for the zhentarim.
"Greetings Jon! how are you?" Jon strached his and replied. "Not bad, I must say. The pays not so good but unless I join some gang or become a bandit, I'm unlikely to get paid more." When he was done he eyes turned serious as starred Alex right in his eyes and said. "I doubt you called here so I could go on about myself. So what is it you want?"
Hearing the question Alex replied. "I need you to become a pirate." "...huh?" Jon was confused by what Alex just said, "What are you asking?" Alex looked at him dead in his and said, "You see that ship behind me?" "Yes I see it, what's the all this about?" Jon asked in confusion.
"I need you to be the captain of that ship and control the pirates on-board," Alex said. "Wait, you want what?" "To watch over those pirates." "I heard you just fine. I'm just trying to prouses all of this. Okay I get what your asking of me but although we may be friends, why would I do this? You want me to just drop everything and go of to sea?"
Alex never thought about all of that. "I can't simply tell someone to do something and expect them to do it," Alex said in his heart. "I know that I'm asking a lot of you. That's why I'm prepared to pay," Alex said.
