I HOPE YOUR WIFE IS UGLY..WINK
Bommurs, Raven, and Minna all won the second round of the competition and that would guarantee them a place to study in the Antenne School of Templar Magic.
The highlight of the second round was me again, at least according to those who came to see the competition.
"See if the cheat is so lucky this time"
"Yes, that cheating kid better not try anything funny or I'll break the stage"
"I've borrowed more money to bet on him lose, hell I even sold my wife"
As usual, I don't really care about the negative comments, but I winked at the guy who sold his wife to bet on me and I added, "I hope your wife is ugly".

"Battle Commence"
In the second round, I did exactly as I did in the first round, but I added a little flavor to the act as I cried, "Don't come near me, I'm scared of heights".
The kid I was fighting against was about fifteen who was much older than me and taller. He was at Awakening Level 9, which wasn't bad for his age and as he saw me cry for help, he was convinced that the rumor against me was true. I was a cheater.
"I'll make this quick", the kid said to me as he charged toward me.
This kid was no pushover like the previous one that I defeated and there was a danger that I might slip and actually lose the match.
"Ring of Growth"
However, I didn't, because as my competitor neared me, he was pushed off the stage by some magical vines even before he could reach me.
"Emm..Orion wins", the referee announced.
"He is the luckiest kid alive"
"Yes, what are the odds that two competitors slipped at the last minute"
"It must be staged"
"Yeah, that's right, he must have bought out the competitors"
The spectators wanted to rush up the stage to mob me for winning the match but were stopped by guards, so I was saved.

"Hugo, how much did I win?" I asked Hugo who came back from the gambling house again.
"Well, less the commission that is promised to me, here's eight silver ingots, 800,000 silver, that's your winning, hahaha", Hugo said as he handed me my winnings and laughed.
"There is a drop in pay-out but that is expected for a winning run. Bet it all on me winning the next match", I asked Hugo again as I handed the silver ingots back to him as he choked on his laughter upon hearing me.
"What all of them that's a lot of money", Hugo asked me to reconfirm.
"Well even if we get into the school there's a lot of expenses. Consider it our scholarship", I told Hugo.

The third round of the match wasn't kind to my friends as they were all eliminated because they were now faced with the best and most talented students among the families.
But their result so far gained them admission to a prestigious school in Antenne Town which was far more than they had expected in the trip coming here, so that was considered a win, I guess.
In the third round, I was faced with another sixteen-year-old boy who was one of the early favorites.
His name was Hector, and he came from the Kleppon family who was a noble in the kingdom and at a young age, he was already at Awakening Level 8.
With his family backing, I was sure he had plenty of treasures on him, so the previous methods that worked with the other competitors wouldn't work with him, and I had to fight him head-on.
"Level 4 against Level 8 that's a joke"
"Finally, I pity that cheating creep"
"Not possible to win otherwise I would become champion myself"
"Hell, I have nothing left to sell"
The spectators' comments were irrelevant to me, and my favorite fan lost his wife betting against me, so there's no point to give him another wink, so I went to battle with the usual pose.
"Battle Commence"
"Please have mercy on me", I begged Hector.
Like the other competitors, Hector was confident of winning against an underperformer like me and he thought I was some kind of garbage that he could kick around.
"You won't be so lucky this time, cheater", Hector told me as he chased me around the stage.
Suddenly I stopped to swoop my body low as I swept the ground with my feet.
Hector was caught unprepared and tripped and as he tripped, I grabbed hold of his feet and flung him out of the stage.
"Emm..Orion wins", the referee announced.
"What the Hell was that?"
"Hector was flung out just like that"
"That's really unfair"
"Stop the cheat"
"I'm so lucky I had nothing left to sell"

"Huh, Gordon, your boy lost to the fluke just like that, hahaha", Kedrix Strout said to Gordon Kleppon and laughed.
Hector Gordon was one of the most promising young men coming from the family. He was the future of the family and one of the boys groomed to become the successors of the family.
Hector was expected to win the competition or at the very least lose the crown fighting but he lost so early in the game and worse still the loss was to an unknown fluke of the Noten family.
"Amelia, your boy is having a good run", Gordon said to Amelia.
"It is just luck I believe. He would never have won if the competition didn't slip", she replied to him who was riled to anger.
"That Hector is fooling around again. I told him to be serious in competition, but these young people don't listen", Gordon said to them before he added, "And I believe the Kleppon family will not let us down like my useless Hector".
"My Klaud will not disappoint me although I was expecting him to face your Hector", Kedrix Strout told Gordon.
