Yulan turned to go when she felt a warm skin touching her hand. Cold shiver ran down her spine as she tried to take a deep breath. She knew it was Li Lian. The touch was familiar. It reminded her of old times.
"Please don't go" he said, squeezing her hand gently. "I was the one who told yang mi to call you out."
She looked at the windows of the car but she could not see anyone. The glasses were tinted. "Where is she?"
"In the car. I told her to wait there" he answered, ruffling his hair. A thing he usually when the situation was tougher than he expected. His eyes trailing hers. The more, she spoke, the more he wanted to hug her.
"So what do you want us to talk about?" Yulan crossed her arms in front of her chest. She had a frown on her face that showed how displeased she was to see him. Gone were the days, his presence meant more than gold to her.
"About the other day… at the shop. I am very sorry about it" Li Lian apologies. From the look on her face, she was not satisfied.
