The room was quieted. Nobody dare move. Li Lian bit his lower lips without answering. He wondered if Elder Li was angry. Or did they found out about Yulan. He was going to tell them but not today.
"You haven't answer my question" Elder Li stood. His hands were behind him and his chest struck out.
"I went to Aunt's place. I was driving home when I realized that my phone was off" Li Lian replied with his hands in the pocket of the pants he wore. He was exhausted from the journey and needed a good rest.
"Ah Lam? Why will you go to see her, when your family is waiting for you, Li Lian" Chu Hua was annoyed. She did not want to sound rude or the Li's might switched sides here. They were not happy with Lian.
