Li Lian arrived Beijing at 3pm. He did not go home. The driver, who came to pick him, took his luggage home. He sent for another car and dismissed the driver for the day.
It was surprising that a woman could make him do stupid thing. Although he was away for two weeks, his heart was in Beijing with Yulan, he has become lunacy because of her.
The car stopped at Ah Lam's house. There was no sign of her car which means only Yulan will be at home. The passersby stared at him like they knew what he came to do. For years, it was his family's happiness. Nobody cares to check if he was happy with Chu Hua or not.
Li Lian remembered all the efforts he has put in to this marriage. The times, he spent arranging dates just to make Chu Hua happy. Putting her and Li Xian's at the top was his first priority.
