Li Qin's last statement was on her mind all night. She couldn't get it off her mind. The witch had managed to get in to her mind with her silly talks. It's was good that mother sent Li Qin to her room.

Chu Hua stood up from the chair and headed for the door.
"You shouldn't go out. It's late" Yan Zi stopped her. She felt like cutting the old woman's tongue. But she was not old!
Yan Zi second wife of master Li was a woman in late thirties. Her beauty was rare. Her skin was spot less. One who was not aware of age might mistake her to be twenty-five. She was tall with long beautiful legs, may be that was the reason why elder Li got married to her in the first place.
"I want to check him at the bars around the house" Chu Hua said, tying her hair that kept falling.
"Come and wait for him here. Li Lian will come back when he wants" Senior mother in law told.
She was going to obey this one. When ever Li Lian or master Li was not at home, the final authority was the first wife.
She was referred to as Mūqīn. The woman was the first wife of Elder Li. Her character and personality were unique. She was kind, caring and generous. Most of the times, the family members took advantage of her humility. -But they won't dare to disobey her when ever Li Lian was around.
"Mother I am worried. What if he something happens to him ?" Chu Hua cried. Her conscience would hunt her forever. Li Lian's down fall was hers as well.
"Don't invite evil Chu Hua. He will be back soon. You should go to bed" Mūqīn yawned. She wondered what led to their fight this time. The couple was married for over five years and yet , their quarrel never ended. Its increased as the days went by.
"You should tell us what led to your fights. Did you see how people were gossiping ?" Yan Zi asked. Of course, people were going to gossip and this was going to be their top topic for the month.
Any thing that had to do with Li Lian was dealt by the world. People judged him easily. Yan Zi wondered how the poor guy was living. Few bad comments about her makes her sick for days. She couldn't even face her own friends.
"People are going to gossip no matter how hard we try. The most important thing is for the them to resolve their differences" Mūqīn chimmed in. She did not want to get involved with their fight but Li Lian's action scared her.
As the head of the family, she wanted to settle their differences but It was obvious that Chu Hua did not want to tell her what happened and Li Lian was out there, roaming around like a wounded lion.
"When a wounded Lion is outside the den, he is dangerous to any one close. I hope he does not make a mistake" Mūqīn said, standing up from the chair. Goodnight. Li Lian will be back."

"What ?? Why will she lied to you after she promised ?" Ah Lam was surprised with the story Li Lian told him. She felt bad for him. He trusted Chu Hua a lot but she failed him.
"I hate when she looked in to my eyes and lie Yímā" He said, bitterly.
"Do you love her ?"
Li Lian looked at her. Why will she asked such a question? Of course, he loved and adored his wife, Chu Hua. No matter how many fights they had she was still his better half.
"Yes I do."
"Then go back to her and work things out. These fights are normal with couples" Ah Lam advised. "Let her tell you the reason why she lied to you. Who knows what it might be ?"
He sighed. Again his beautiful aunt found a way to solve his problems. "You are one in a million."
"Yes I know" She smiled. "Greet your mothers for me."
"I will Yímā" standing up from the sofa, they both headed to the door. "Why is Yang Mi not home yet ?"
"I don't know what is wrong with that girl. You should help me to discipline her" Ah Lam opened the door for him. When it's came to discipline, Li Lian was a master. His whole house hold feared and respected him. Also, Yang Mi respected him a lot.
"Goodnight. Sleep well" she watch his car disappeared in the dark. What a pity! Their anniversary turned out worse. It's was already twelve. Which means Li Lian spent his day alone. Without his darling wife.
