When Alex left the scene all hell broke loose. The news crews and civilians were frantic not sure of what to make of everything. The police and emergency crews ran around to make sure everyone was alright while some of the cops took the injured assailant to the hospital to heal and then for interrogation.
The news crews were doing their best to report on everything that happened but even they didn't no much. Everyone was scrambling. The people that were watching through a livestream or from the news programs all had the same thought going through their heads.
"This is just a joke right."
However it didn't take long for the livestreams to get shutdown and news stations to suddenly loose the signal with their camera grew at the scene. This in turn led many people to believe that everything they saw was in fact all real.
Conspiracy theorists all around the world were having a field day with all the sudden secrecy surrounding the mall attack incident. Everyone expected the incident to be the talk on the news for at least the next few weeks, but all traces of video surveillance and videos could not be found. It was like they were all wiped from the face of the Earth.
In fact they weren't really wiped from the internet as that is virtually impossible. Things live on the internet forever, but you can bury them so deep that they wont be able to be found again. Which is exactly what a very busy and stressed out UISF Director was busy doing with her tech team.
"Alright great work everyone. We are almost done than we can all go home."
Olivia said with a bit of cheer in her voice. She had been working non stop to cover up the mess that took place at the mall. It had taken her nearly two full 24 hour days to bury all information on the incident. She was very upset with Alex for running of like he did, but she also didn't blame him as he did just expose himself and magic to the whole world.
She was happy because they were just about done with everything they needed to do, and she couldn't wait to go home to her Los Angeles condo to see Alex. Telling him the good news. Olivia also decided that the civilians and emergency responder who witnessed it first hand could be dealt with at a later time since she believed that they wouldn't say anything since Alex did save their lives multiple times that day.
Olivia usually took a more direct and thorough approach to anyone who found out about other races and magic, but for some reason a part of her just didn't care. That part of her was glad that people knew and the big secret was slowly coming out. Ever since she was born she had to hide who/ what she was. All she ever wanted to do was to be able to walk down the street with her pink skin and horns for the whole world to see who she was.
Her wish would soon be able to come true.

Two days ago when Alex fled the scene in his werewolf form he didn't know where to go. He got so lost in the moment of trying to save everyone and have no casualties that he went into his werewolf form to achieve that.
Now that he had time to think he knew that he probably screwed everything up just exposed the biggest secret that the Earth and UISF have kept hidden for ages. That magic and other races weren't fantasy but in fact real. Alex was panicking on the inside as he ran away from the scene into the night.
"What if my parents were watching the news and saw me. Saw what I had become." Alex thought as he transformed back into his human form.
He found a nice place under a bridge away from all the cop cars and busy city lights. He traveled just outside Los Angeles city limits in the span of a few minutes. Alex's mind was still racing, as his body grew more and more tired.
"Man it's bee a while since I fully transformed. It still does wear me out after all this time."
Alex said as he started to nod off, the bed of plush trash in the corner had his name written all over it. He fell face first into the trash closing his eyes and falling fast asleep.

The next morning Alex woke up to the foul smell of the moldy trash that he was laying in. Strangely enough his body was well rested, though he did smell like shit and piss. With his body well rested and mind mostly clear. Alex decided that he really needed a shower, and he knew o the perfect place to get one.
"Sniff."
"Sniff."
"Dang I really smell like shit."
Alex leaped off the ground onto the bridge in a single jump. He than started to run as fast as he could towards downtown or more aptly to a condo downtown.
Within a few minutes Alex made it to downtown Los Angeles, he stood Infront of a fancy apartment building. He looked up all the way to the thirtieth floor ( top floor) with a smile on his face.
"Good she's not here yet. I don't want my Olivia to smell me reeking of shit."
He walked inside snuck past the front desk lady and got in the elevator, going to the top floor.
Once he made it to the top floor Alex got the key that Olivia had given him earlier to unlock the door and head inside. Olive had a security system in place that alerted her anytime someone entered her home. So she knew Alex had just went to her place.
Alex shucked off his clothes, put them in the washing machine and hopped into the hot shower.
Minutes later he was out of the shower and drying off when his phone rang. Thinking that it was Olivia he didn't bother to look at the caller id.
"Hello?"
"Hey brother it's Anna. Before you say anything Mom and Dad were watching the news last night and they saw you and your little stunt. So I think it's time to come home"
"Shit!"
Was all Alex could say as he ended the call, put some clothes on and ran out the door.

So sorry it took so long. Tried to figure out how to end the big arc. The new cover on the book is of the werewolf form of Alex that I got made. I colored it in hope everyone likes it. Next arc will be out soon this time I promise to work better on, on time releases.
