Chapter 36: BACK AT HOME.
Upon arriving back in the city Lee and the others head to the white house.
Dale: So you're the one who's in charge of this place?
Lee: Yes, I am.
Dale: Looks great.
Lee: Thanks.
Lee and the others finally made it to the white house where he then meets up with Alice and the other members of the council.
Alice: Welcome back Lee.
Lee: It's good to be back.
Klaus: And who's this new guy?
Joe: His name is Dale and I think he wants to join our ranks.
Alice: Hewon, can you take Mr Dale to our holding facility.
Hewon: Yes.
Lee: We have a holding facility?
Klaus: While you were gone we did a little bit of clearing.
Lee: That's good.
Dale: Why should I go to this holding facility? What are you guys going to do to me?.
Alice: We're not going to hurt you. You'll be given some questions to answer, after that we'll give you a rank and a task or area to command over.
Dale: Okay, I understand.
Hewon leads Dale to the holding facility where he will wait until further notice.
Alice: Who are these two?.
Lee: This is Rebekah and her brother Kol.
Alice: Vijay can you take these two to the holding facility, please?.
Vijay: Yes.
Lee: No need for that, I've already given these two a rank.
Alice: What rank are they?.
Lee: Rebekah is rank S and Kol is rank A.
Klaus: Are you sure Lee?.
Lee: Yes I am. Another thing, Rebekah will be my Bodyguard from now on.
Joe: We should prepare a small feast since we made it back.
Mia: Not all of us.
Klaus: I'm just remembering someone, where's Tommy.
Mia holds her head down unable to look Klaus in the eyes. Joe pats her on the shoulder and says everything is gonna be alright.
Mia lifts her head and smiles as tears run down her cheeks.
Lee: Tommy died trying to save us. He died a hero and we shall remember him until time fades.
Alice: We need to notify the others and let them know.
Mia: I'll tell them.
Joe: Don't pressure yourself to do something you can't.
Mia: I can do it.
Lee: Alice, get someone to create a memorial stone where we can write the names of your fallen members.
Alice: Yes sir.
Lee lets out a sigh and heads straight toward his office. Lee opens up his office door only to see a bunch load of paperwork that needs to be done.
Lee: Why do we have so much paper here? Wait where the hell did we get papers from.
**Someone knocks on lee's door**
Ashley: It's me, Ashley...may I come in?.
Lee: Sure thing.
**Ashley enters lee's office**
Lee: Ash, how's Millicent been doing since I've been gone.
Ashley: She's been doing great my lord.
Lee: You don't have to call me that.
Ashley: I know.
Lee looks at Ashley with sorrow in his eyes, Lee lets out a sigh then walks over towards her and hugs her.
Ashley started to cry. Lee hug her tightly and told her that everything's gonna be alright.
Ashley rubs her eyes then smiles at lee.
Ashley: Thank you...Thank you for coming back.
Lee: But Tommy is dead so I failed. I promise you guys to protect you from danger and yet because of me, you lost a friend.
Ashley: Mia told me everything that happened and the fact that you kept standing back up no matter how many times you fall and that proves to me that you did your all.
Lee: If only I was stronger.
Ashley: Tommy died trying to protect you guys, I never thought he would do something so brave. Since he's a coward and all.
**Someone knocks on lee's door**
Lee: Who is it?
Alice: It's me.
Lee: Okay, you can enter.
Alice walks into Lee's office with some paperwork.
Ashley: How are you today?
Alice: I'm great, thanks for asking.
Ashley: Let me leave you two alone, Thanks again, my lord.
Lee: You don't have to call me that.
Ashley leaves the office and went towards the main hallway.
Alice: Did you talk to her about Tommy?
Lee: Yes I did.
Alice: Don't pressure yourself, Joe filled me in on what happened and all I can say is that I'm happy that you guys manage to make it out alive.
Lee: Tommy died because I was weak.
Alice: Tommy died because he was weak.
Lee: So what's the matter now? Give me a quick brief about what happened since I was gone.
Alice opens up her journal and takes a seat. Lee sits down in his chair and leans back.
Lee: Go on.
Alice: We currently have two hundred people living within our walls.
Lee: two hundred? So fast.
Alice: We also found two military helicopters and 10 military trucks.
Lee: That's good. Any high members?
Alice: Yes. Six S ranks. Four A ranks and twenty B ranks.
Lee: So that's thirty in total.
Alice: Yes, We have eighty houses that are good to use.
Lee: I'm guessing you already plan everything?
Alice: Yes, each building has about 30 rooms that can be used.
Lee: That's a lot of room.
Alice: We can shelter about two thousand people.
Lee: How many medical centres have you made?
Alice: Ten medical facilities, two schools and ten military facilities, five food distributors and three mechanical facilities.
Lee: Seems like you should run this place instead of me.
Alice: No, Anyways I'm going to talk to Dale and the other two.
Lee: Alice can you make me a new sword and a new suit of clothing?.
Alice: I'll make you some weapons but ask ari to do the clothes because I can't.
Lee: Okay then...also inform everyone that tomorrow we will have a summit. Separate each rank and let them meet me in front of the white house tomorrow at noon.
Alice: Yes your majesty.
