Lynceus got off his horse, peered into the dingy cave in front of him and drew in a deep breath. The man had been traveling on horseback for weeks now in pursue of his lost brother Idas, following the clues that people who had claimed to have seen him, had laid out for him.
Lynceus was tired from his endless search, any normal man would have given up and turned back, or would have probably been dead by now, but not him, his constant nightmares of Idas calling out to him for help were his drive.
Even though they had other siblings, Idas and Lynceus were very fond of each other because of their closeness in age. Growing up watching his older brother become a brave soldier and adventurous traveller, Lynceus had always been inspired by Idas and hoped to be like him some day.
