Lynceus walked through the sandy dessert towards the old temple of Hermès, he was tired and close to collapsing from thirst. The wind was blowing and the sun was blazing, his mind had long given up on him and he'd experienced more mirages than he could count.
Anyone else would have fallen victim of the inhuman conditions of this treacherous wasteland and made it their final resting place, but Lynceus had no plans of succumbing to Thanatos' grasp just yet, Idas needed him.
After talking to Circe the sorceress, Lynceus knew that his brother's disappearance had something to do with Apollo and Hermès. Had Idas lost it and picked a fight with Apollo because of Marpessa? Or was it something completely different? Whatever the reason, the answers to his questions lay in the abandoned temple ahead.
"Your brother angered the wrong people." Circe had said. "And there were consequences."
"What do you mean? What happened to him, is he okay?"
