Despite running through random rooms with no rhyme or reason, Dante was sure that he would be able to encounter more monsters to test his new strength out, and get even stronger.
However, he did not manage to run into a single enemy for about an hour, although he didn't know how long it had been.
Instead, he managed to run into an immense amount.
He had come across a huge room with a massive black sludge egg in the middle of it, that was seemingly spewing Rolling Eyes out of it after every few minutes.
This room was much more well lit than any of the others which is what had enticed Dante to investigate it, and it was a good thing that he had.
Although it wasn't a good way of testing out his new powers, it was definitely a good way to gain experience. Almost like his own personal farm which would let him level up a lot.
He walked around, crushing the Rolling Eyes beneath his feet with every step, gaining an abundance of experience in the process, and when he finished, he waited to see if the egg would spew any more Rolling Eyes.
However, after quite a long time, he saw that the egg seemed to be done, so he checked his status and allocated his points before looking them over once more and testing something.
Name: Dante

Shockwave Impact (Channel All Power Into A Single Part Of The User's Body And Deliver A Powerful Attack That Creates A Shockwave) (Unlocked At 35 Body)
Level twelve was very high for the short amount of time it had taken to get there, and Dante was very happy with his now seemingly quite high stats, especially as they were not split between two stats but were rather just put in a single stat.
Even more so though, he was pleased with the two skills that he had gained. One of them seemed more powerful than the other, but they both seemed useful and Dante was happy to have gained something that would help him immensely in battle.
Seeing that the sludge egg had still not created any more Rolling Eyes, Dante wanted to see if he would gain any experience from destroying it.
He had previously planned to just attack it normally, but now he wanted to see the power of his strongest current skill, Shockwave Impact. He wasn't quite sure how to use it, but he decided that the most obvious way would probably be to say the skill name before using it.
This turned out to be true, as Dante shouted out, "Shockwave Impact."
And a white glow encompassed his right hand, and he let loose a devastating punch that created an incredibly loud shockwave that vibrated all of the corpses on the ground, and absolutely destroyed its target.
The egg had a massive, gaping hole in the centre of it, and it began to wither away until it was merely a dust which also caused the corpses of the Rolling Eyes to disappear into nothing but a memory.

'That's a huge amount compared to everything else so far, thank god that worked.'
After using his skill, Dante was not tired, and felt as though he could do another attack of the same calibre at any time, but he did feel like something inside him had been depleted, which didn't make him tired, but did sway him away from a second attack.
This gain of three hundred experience points got him to level fifteen, and he allocated his stats to get forty five stat points in Body, and despite not getting a new skill, he still felt much stronger.
While he was on his stat page, he noticed something strange which hadn't been there before. There was a small square with a cog inside of it, and when he thought of accessing it, Dante was greeted with his Status Settings as they were called.
He looked through the options, and decided to allow some of them that were not accepted before. He made it so that all of his free points would automatically be allocated into the Body stat. He also made it so that he would no longer have to see the amount of experience he needed for a level, as the amounts were getting high and it would be easier for him to just get a notification when he levelled up, rather than for every bit of experience he gained.
These were the only changes that he made, but his status was easier to read and less complex after that.
As there was nothing else to do in the room that had given him so much experience, Dante left and began to run once more. His speed was significantly faster than it had been before, and this meant his speed of finding enemies was much quicker than before too.
After a few minutes, he ran into one of the Crystal Trolls which he would have been very confident in his loss against previously, but with his new strength he was sure that he could win.
The enemy spotted him and began to charge an attack, but even when it was shot in a beam towards him, Dante's small bear-like body was able to dodge and keep moving forward. His entire body had become strengthened so much more than he had realised, and he jumped up in the air to deliver an attack of his own.
He used Heavy Punch, and he could feel his weight increasing as he fell faster and faster down towards the Crystal Troll. When he landed the attack, a cracking noise could be heard, and although it slightly damaged Dante's fist, the Crystal Troll's body began breaking apart until it was fully shattered.
Upon this, he noticed something else which he hadn't seen before, stood behind the Crystal Troll's body was a smaller and less stone-like Troll. It was still grey in colour, but instead of a stone exterior, it seemed like it had skin.
'The Crystal Troll must have been protecting this little thing, I guess it's just a regular Troll.'
With that, Dante punched it and it exploded instantly, which was quite comedic and got a chuckle out of him.
Without need for rest, he continued to run around looking for enemies, with the end goal of evolving, and maybe even finding a new area with new monsters that would give him more experience so he could get stronger quicker.
Ideally though, he would find an exit from the strange land he found himself in, and a way to change back into a human. However, he knew this was incredibly farfetched and unlikely, so the first options were much more realistic to him, and he kept them in his mind while running.
Although this wasn't the only thing kept in his mind, as Dante was beginning to miss his family, and he wanted to return to them rather than fight against strange creatures that he had never seen before, in a body that was stupidly cute and stupidly non-human.
