The door had an ominous feeling surrounding it, and Dante decided to push it open without worrying about what would happen.
When he opened the door, he found himself in a pitch black room, even darker than when he had first opened his eyes to the new world. He looked around, but there was nothing that he could see, well almost nothing.
In the centre of the room, there was a strange bright white line that stood out greatly. He began to walk towards it to see what it could be, but something surprising happened when he began to walk.
The line began to grow, and from the ground emerged a huge white spherical light, which Dante recognised as an eyeball. The room was brightened by this single eye, and he could see the body of the creature.
The monster's body was disgusting, taking up a lot of the room with a mass of black sludge, bones, and flesh that looked as though it was thrown together into a pot and then stirred. Right beneath the eyeball was a gigantic mouth full of razor sharp teeth, and a putrid smell came out of it every time the monster flicked its tongue out.
He knew upon seeing this creature that it wouldn't be an easy fight, as he could only see one area that he could potentially attack, and it was surrounded by potentially deadly sludge.
The monster's gigantic eye stared down at Dante, as if he was nothing to it, before the mass of sludge began to form into something different.
The singular giant eye moved throughout the sludge, and the sludge began to transform into the form of a dragon.
'Shit, that can't be good for me' Thought Dante as he saw the towering figure ahead of him finish forming into the terrifying shape of a massive dragon.
The eyeball was located underneath the Dragon Eye, which is what he had called the Boss, and took up the majority of its underbelly. This was the obvious weak point, but Dante would have to get past the horrifying creature's attacks before he could take it down.
It began to approach Dante and, faster than he would have imagined, snapped its jaws down towards him and tried to crush him, not bite, crush. Dante could tell this, because all of the teeth in the monster's mouth were made of bones from dead monsters, and they were for the most part incredibly blunt.
He dodged out of the way of this attack, and unleashed a powerful Heavy Punch into the mouth of the monster. This caused a few of its 'teeth' to fall onto the ground, and it to pull its head up back to its original position.
Dante decided to not give the Dragon Eye any more time than it had already had to recover, and began to sprint at the monster. He jumped up as high as he could, and latched onto the side of the monster.
However, once he had grabbed on, he was immediately forced to fall off. This was due to the large spike which emerged without warning from the spot that he was on. This was very confusing, but as he was back on the ground, Dante chose to go for another tactic.
He used a Shockwave Impact on one of the front legs of the Dragon Eye. This caused it to snap in half, and the Dragon Eye lost its composure as Dante watched the destroyed body material dissolve.
As it had lost a significant part of its body, Dante assumed the fight would become easier, but what happened next threw him off completely.
The monster shape shifted into a completely different form, now looking more humanoid, standing on two legs at a height that rivalled that of the Dragon form, taking the appearance of a Cyclops, with the single eye being planted firmly in the centre of its head.
It had no wings, but was very bulky and had a large, spiked tail. This tail swung around with immense speed, and hit into Dante which caused him to be sent flying backwards into a wall.
'Fuck that hurt' Was all Dante could think, as he saw the massive figure jump up and crash down on top of him. Luckily, he managed to roll out of the way in time, before beginning to ready himself for the fight.
By the time the Cyclops Eye had turned back to look at him, Dante was ready, as his injury did not feel too bad. He didn't exactly have a huge array of attacks, but he thought that if he managed to chip away little by little at the monster's body, it would become smaller and smaller until he could completely eradicate it.
He began to run straight for the enemy, no hesitation in his stride, and Dante performed a devastating attack by trying something he hadn't done yet.
He jumped into the air, and used both Heavy Punch, Quakestrike Burst, and Shockwave Impact at the same time.
He could feel himself becoming heavier, as his arms began to be fuelled with power like nothing he had ever felt. His arms began punching at immense speeds, almost like a blur if one was to look from an external view. The power of these punches created blasts which did damage from the short distance between Dante and the Cyclops Eye despite him not actually making contact.
Holes appeared all over the monster's body where the attacks had landed, and the removed material disappeared which caused the enemy to change form once more.
Dante was becoming more and more engrossed in the fight as it went on, gaining momentum and overpowering the Boss who was becoming weaker and weaker as the battle went on.
After his massive attack, Dante felt a little tired, but he powered through from the excitement of the battle and looked in disgust at the new form of the monster.
It had become a large blob with arms and legs that could barely sustain its form, but in return for its weak looking appearance, it was covered in a thick armour of bones.
Dante looked at this, and knew what would be able to break through it. He was going to use one of his skills for its intended purpose.
He unleashed a Quakestrike Burst aimed at the ground, and the tremors that followed were immense, enough in fact to knock the monster over and cause it to roll like a ball in the direction of Dante.
This was his plan, as the approaching monster would stand no chance against his attack that would follow, this attack was a mixture of Heavy Punch and Shockwave Impact, and at the second of impact, when the skills had technically already been used, he activated Heavy Punch once more, to double the weight behind the already devastating attack.
A thunderous boom echoed around the room, and the majority of the Boss was blown away, and turned into nothing.
Now all that was left was the massive eyeball, which was unable to move, lying on the ground helpless. Dante approached it, and jumped high into the air, before using Heavy Punch multiple times while falling, not to release an attack, but to increase his own weight.
When he finally reached the ground, he smashed the eyeball into an uncountable number of pieces, and won the battle, not without leaving a crater in the ground though.
After having won this battle, Dante could tell he had levelled up a lot, and he felt like he had earned it, as the battle had not left him unscathed. He was slightly injured, and definitely exhausted both mentally and physically. This was most certainly due to his intense overuse of his skills, pushing past the mental limit which had tried to stop him from utilising them how he wanted to.
While resting up, Dante checked his status to see how much he had levelled up.
Name: Dante
Age: 17
Species: Teenage Pink Bear
Level: 25 (lvl.25/lvl.50)
Evolution Rank: 1 (1/3)
Stats:
Body: 175
Mind: 0
Free Points: 0
Skills:
Heavy Punch (A Punch With The User's Entire Weight X 2 Behind It) (Unlocked At 10 Body (Rank 0))

Sprint (Increase User's Speed Ten Fold While Used) (Unlocked at 150 Body (Rank 1))
Looking at his status, he could tell the difference was crazy. He had levelled up half way to his next evolution from what was mostly a single enemy. It had absolutely been worth fighting against this monster, especially because he had gained a new skill which from the description would be very powerful.
When he stood up to continue his search for monsters in an attempt to become stronger, Dante spotted something, the hole in which the Boss had previously been in when he had initially walked into the room was not as empty as he would've thought it to be.
There was a staircase leading down which had been hidden by the Boss monster.
'I wonder what this beast was hiding' Was Dante's only thought, before he descended the stairway.
