Morgan's rampage lasted for several days, he almost destroyed half the contents of the forest. The big wolf was exhausted and fell to the ground, his body instantly became a human covered in blood.
Elder Zac didn't have a look of exhaustion on his face at all. He leaped up to the helpless Morgan. Morgan just let out a short breath, helplessly.
"Clean up all this mess." Morgan looked up. He frowned, not understanding.
"When you first saw this forest, you saw all the green trees and the house, right?"
"Yes, anyone will see it."
"Your mother did it all."
Morgan's eyes widen. All the trees here were planted by his mother? How could that be? Morgan remembers very well that if his mother never left even a single memory or precious thing for him, Morgan doesn't even remember what the woman who gave birth to him looked like, what her smile and warm embrace looked like.
And now he's ruined everything?
Damn!
"Your mother was just like you, destroying this forest, but then she planted it and nursed it back until it grew like this."
"But it will take years." Morgan groaned and put on a sad face, just like a puppy.
"Who said your training would come in such a short time?" Elder Zac glanced at the darkening sky, a tinge of twilight adorning the west. "Clean up the mess you made tonight, I'll be watching over you."
Elder Zac turned around, leaving Morgan lying on the ground, bathed in the bright moonlight. The man closed his eyes and faintly heard the howling of a wolf in the distance.
***
Morgan couldn't come to terms with his wolf form. He again always ended up in chaos. Almost the entire forest shattered in his hands when he transformed.
He is a monster.
"Don't make a pitiful face like a puppy."
Elder Zac always came every morning and issued a series of poisonous words full of insults at Morgan.
Morgan just bent his knees. It felt like everything he was doing was in vain, he went on a rampage, destroying trees, replanting them, and raging again. The cycle kept repeating until he felt like all of this had no end.
"Am I not going to be an Alpha?" asked Morgan suddenly. "The Lloyds were never Alpha."
Elder Zac sat on a fallen tree, his hands fiddling with the apple he had gotten on the way here.
"Your anger and power balance each other and form explosive emotions. As long as I live, only your mother can reconcile for a while in her normal wolf form."
"What are you doing?"
Elder Zac stood up, he walked slowly towards Morgan. The shining sunlight was blocked by his small body, he showed a mocking smile.
"You know better than me. Your family, Lloyd, is a part of you. "
After saying that, Elder Zac again left Morgan in a great silence, the feet slowly treading.
Morgan lowered his head, he never understood what Elder Zac meant. He wanted to go back to the pack, meet Giselle, and share a little of his restlessness with the girl. Imagining her wok smiling softly at him warmed his heart.
Morgan took a breath, he stood limping, looking around, he always found a dead-end to overcome his anger. In his heart, he wondered, what did his mother do to make him able to control his wolf form?
Morgan groaned, he threw himself into the river, trying to calm himself down. The cold immediately pierced his skin. There was a slight pain that emerged from the wounds he had gotten. Morgan closed his eyes and drowned himself.
The image of Luke's mocking smile flashed through his mind again, his rambling mouth as if he wanted to rip it apart.
PRASH!
The water was turbulent, a large gray wolf suddenly appeared from the water. It wagged its tail and wet fur in all directions, howling loudly.
The big wolf's feet hit the ground, but it was as if he was pulled into the water, the footing collapsed and drowned the big wolf back into the water.
Morgan roared furiously, his body twirled around the river and started to collapse on the banks, making the river wide open. When he was about to jump up again, the wolf fell back to the bottom of the river.
Morgan was getting angrier. It felt like this river was playing a trick on him.
The water is getting more turbulent and the sound of the crashing is getting louder. The trees on the riverbank are unable to hold the water that keeps hitting the banks, collapsing and dissolving into the river, which has now turned brown. The big wolf howled, its body completely submerged in the water.
What's with this river?
The more he struggled to get out, the harder he was dragged to the bottom.
Morgan fought back until he was exhausted, then he gave up and allowed himself to be dragged to the bottom of the river. The river current seemed to spin, forming a whirlpool at the bottom. There, the big wolf changed slowly into a human form.
His consciousness was eroding little by little, Morgan felt his body floating at the bottom of the river, he felt someone laughing softly inside his head. He also heard a little spoiled cry accompanied by the soft mumbling of a man.
Who's that?
Why does it feel familiar?
Morgan allowed himself to continue to be pulled to the bottom without a fight. He slowly closed his eyes. Slowly, he saw the image of a woman holding a baby wrapped in a soft blanket in her arms.
"Look, he's so handsome." The woman said, then laughed a little. A man appeared and approached her, his face not visible because of the reflection of the sun, gently caressing the baby in the woman's arms.
The woman had tan skin. Her long hair hung over her shoulders, bound by a loose black cloth, her face was slightly round, but she looked gentle and motherly with her charming smile.
Morgan was stunned.
The woman was her mother, and the man beside her was her father.
"You gave him a name?" asked the man, he let his big hand be held by the tiny baby. There was a slight chuckle heard.
The woman sighed, she looked up at her husband.
"Let's name it Morgan. Morgan Lloyd."
"You are sure?" asked the man again. "To bear the name Lloyd is a very heavy burden."
"Lloyd is not a burden, this is pride." The woman argued and looked at the man beside her disapprovingly. "I believe."
The man straightened his body and slowly let go of the baby's hand in his hand. He looked at the woman closely.
"What do you believe?"
"Sometime in the future, Morgan will be an amazing Alpha. He will make Lloyd proud on the back of his name. "
The man put a smile on his face, he gently stroked the woman's hair, and kissed her.
"Since you believe, then I will believe."
