Chapter 27 - Snow White

Doe look at Thomas' index finger pointing towards the house, he held Thomas' hand. His big eyes narrowed, he smiled a little.

Thomas scratched his hair with eyes looking at Doe curiously, while Morgan, had his eyes closed.

"She's Snow White." Doe spoke softly, his small hands moving to separate the strawberries from the leaves and put them in the basket in front of Thomas. The red strawberry looks very tempting.

"How did you know about her?" Doe ask while looking at Thomas in surprise, while Thomas was nodding and playing with his fingers, his childhood memories flashed through his mind again, Queen Dwizella had the same habit as housewives in general, before bed, the queen happily read a bedtime story to her son and daughter.

"My mother once said they were somewhere I couldn't reach, but I didn't expect to meet one of those legendary princesses now."

Morgan, who had closed his eyes, woke up, looking at Thomas, whose hand was held by Doe.

"They?" Morgan asked, confused.

Thomas turned to Morgan and sneered. "You don't know about the tale of the legendary seven princesses?"

The fairy tale of the seven princesses is one of the most popular tales told by humans by word of mouth in the kingdom of Megalima. The princesses struggle to find true love, live happily in a beautiful castle, and have magic around them.

But why did Thomas find Snow White living in the village of dwarves? Where is the Prince? It's not that the princess should eat the apple poisoned by the evil queen who is jealous of her beauty, then a prince comes and kisses her, they live happily in the castle at the end of the story.

Morgan shrugged, then looked away and closed his eyes again quietly. Since childhood, he had hated hearing stories about love or anything like that. He thought it was only appropriate for girls to tell. Sie, who had been lying down close to Thomas, sat down and stared intently at the boy.

"Naturally he doesn't know," Doe says with a chuckle, his red hat swaying with his head. "We weren't meant to be seen by you."

"What does it mean?"

"I don't know who you are, but you shouldn't be able to just enter our village." Mei, who was sitting next to Morgan, suddenly spoke, staring at Thomas straight from behind her round glasses, her legs stretched out in front of her.

Thomas tilted his head in confusion.

"Princess warded off our village with magic from being seen by anyone outside. But why did you come in?"

Thomas just blinked his eyes, not knowing what to say.

"I do not understand."

Mei snorted, her glasses slid down her nose. She pointed at the sky, it was not blue, but a light pink that circled the village, forming a dome.

"The White Wizard came a few months ago..." Mei exclaimed once more, this time with a long sigh. "He messed up the storyline. The Prince was killed right on his wedding day, Snow White was angry and hid this village from being seen by any race, even the White Wizard."

"Why did he do that?" Thomas frowned, he didn't expect the White Wizard to meddle in the affairs of the legendary princess, he couldn't read what the White Wizard was thinking.

"I don't know, maybe he knows," Mei said while glancing at Snow White's house, Doe approach Thomas and held his shoulder.

"Now can you explain why you guys were able to break through the barrier that Snow White made?"

Morgan didn't move, he stayed where he was, not bothered at all by the chatter of Thomas and the dwarves, he just listened intently.

"I do not know. Maybe because I'm a Prince?" He pointed to himself with a big smile.

Mei rolled her eyes, the news of the collapse of Queen Dwizella's reign had, of course, reached all corners of the Megalima Kingdom. She knew that in front of her was Thomas Phyla, the prince who was outcast from the throne, cursed by the terrible curse of an uncivilized witch, the White Wizard.

Do just chuckled, he secretly looked at Thomas sadly, his hair had turned white and his skin is almost the color of a corpse's skin. How much time did this prince have left? Why didn't he spend his time doing things that pleased himself one last time, but instead took walks to shorten his life?

"That dagger," Morgan said as he straightened himself, the nearby Sie back on his back with enthusiasm.

Thomas took the silver needle that was in his pocket, when he held it in an instant it grew to the size of a dagger, Morgan narrowed his eyes, he snorted.

He had always known that the werewolf's weakness was silver, at first he thought it only applied to him, but in fact, almost all races are afraid of the existence of silver. Only humans do not feel the terrible effect. Therefore, the existence of silver is almost never found in the Megalima kingdom at the command of Queen Dwizella.

And now the outcast prince has it, out of nowhere. He had to be aware of that before the weapon grew and became a threat to an immortal like himself.

"Silver dagger?" Doe eyes widened, and he looked up and pulled away, afraid the dagger would touch him.

Mei adjusted the glasses on her nose, looked at the dagger intently, then nodded as if she understood something.

"It's the dagger that counteracts the magic," Mi said in a cold tone, Thomas looked at the dagger and flipped through the weapon while mumbling a little.

Morgan and Mei stared at each other for a moment, then fell silent. The silver dagger again shrunk to the size of a needle, Thomas carefully inserted it into the small tube and put it back in his shirt pocket. He looked up at the sky lit up by Snow White's pink dome.

He sighed tiredly. What exactly was the White Wizard planning?

Iris felt her head hit by a huge hammer, it throbbed in pain and her vision was spinning. Her ears were ringing and she felt very hot, her chest felt tight, she pulled the blanket and sat down with her hair wet with sweat.

Snow White said, "You shouldn't have sat down right away," as she peeled the apple beside the bed, Iris turned around with a confused look.

"Your head is going to hurt a lot," she continued, Iris gasped and clutched her head, she immediately fell back onto the bed, wincing in pain.

"That is the effect of the Black Witch."

Snow White didn't seem bothered by Iris' sobs, she kept peeling the apple in her hand, her beautiful face was calm.

"Who are you? Where am I?" Iris asked with difficulty, her chest still tight.

"They call me Snow White," she said with a smile, then placed the peeled apple on the nightstand beside the bed. "I don't even know. Am I a princess?"
