"You told me! Don't do that again!" The woman in the red dress was wearing her hands on her hips with bulging eyes. "I've told you so many times, didn't even one get into your ears?!"
Little Iris shuffled out of her seat, squealing to bury herself in her sister's arms.
"It's no use, Mother! Its fate, Iris, will become a Great Wizard's!"
"No!" The woman called Mother screamed. Their little house seemed to be being shaken with invisible anger. "Your sister must be a normal child like you. She must not be a Great Wizard's!"
"I'm normal? I thought my mom was just as crazy as I was! We killed a lot of humans just to become Great Wizard's! Now that Iris is showing signs, I or my mother should be able to get out of this!"
Little Iris didn't understand why her mother and sister were arguing so loudly, it was getting colder and darker outside, but neither of them had any interest in lighting the fire.
