"Is it love?"Tiersa's voice was shrill and filled with anger. She threw Thomas' body with her black shadow. "Did something happen in your head to make you say that stupid word, Thomas?"
Tiersa's heart was frozen. She could no longer define what love was. For her, the greatest anger she currently felt was the abandonment of her brother.
"I beg your pardon," Thomas said as he rose to his feet, no matter how many times Tiersa attacked him, he would not be able to fight back. "Forgive me."
Tiersa looked at Thomas, who was kneeling in front of her. She couldn't help the hatred that grew in her heart. Who was the woman who had made Thomas dare to ignore Tiersa who was dying in a brothel?
