The fire that burned the Capital city had been extinguished, leaving rubble and ruins of buildings. One orc walked his horse and a woman whose dress was covered in blood dragged another woman by her hand.
Their pace was neither fast nor slow. Several times, the Orc who was leading the way looked back worriedly, afraid that Tiersa would faint from exhaustion, but seeing Tiersa's cold and flat face, he gave up on asking how the Princess was and kept walking.
The more they entered the Capital, the more Carlos wondered what Tiersa would do to Thomas. The stab wound to his shoulder wasn't serious but deep enough and every time he moved his hand, the pain was excruciating.
The sound of the creaking of the rubble being trampled on sounded very uncomfortable to the ears. The Princess seemed to intentionally hurt Valerie's body.
